Oh by the way I hope nobody's forgotten his name Mr Larry Lewis is his name however the title is the great one Larry Lewis please do not forget that he's the icon and the best skier that ever set foot on that bank track there is no skater from that time. Or today on the face of this planet that will ever be able to outskate Larry Lewis no matter how good they are how strong they are how young they are Larry Lewis was simply one of a kind in a class of his own and Larry we all remember you we love you you've gotten up there in age but for some reason I still believe you can get out there LOL God bless!

The "GOOOOO! GOOOOOOOO!! GOOOOOOOOOO!!!" chant is crazy intimidating to behold. I've never seen a crowd do that before in any venue.

I agree! Larry Lewis amazed me from the first time I saw him with the Devils, back, I believe, in 1965!

Yeah he is the absolute best I'm not making this up but I was privileged and honored like you would not believe to have been introduced to Mr Larry Lewis years ago back in 1990 it was great to make his acquaintance and was friends during that time he trained me for roller games and he trained us all to get out there to make her come back on the bank track after roller games failed we went out there had games at the Olympic and I made a comeback but unfortunately there were some weird politics involved and I became the best skater I could be but I always did my best to do my best for Larry Lewis he is truly an amazing man an amazing person a true kind soul of Jesus and definitely my hero from childhood love you Larry

Thank you for sharing those great memories! Man, I miss Roller Derby/Roller Games! Modern Roller Derby is "okay," but just imagine if we could somehow see the eventual formation of a new Roller League, I remember this was possibly going to happen in 2000, but it fell through, sadly!

Very little talent during the time, we need true skaters on the track.

It only got worse as the years went by. 1961-1974 was the best period for skating talent.
