My review of the Shieldon Knives (s71.co/3JS5hVy) Empoleon Folding Knife ($53) (s71.co/3n9kfwK), a slick slicer with a streamlined low profile look to it. It features a ball bearing ceramic pivot, a very sharp edge, D2 steel, for a reasonable price. My favorite Shieldon Knife is still the Bulbasaur in Sandvik steel (s71.co/3zB6Ke2). If you want something more pointed, check out the previously reviewed Barraskewda folder (s71.co/3HRjZdL). If you need a large, wider, thicker knife blade, consider the Boa (s71.co/31IcLt6) which I will be reviewing soon. Check below the video for useful links lists of gear of all sorts. Enjoy! :]
Thank you for another sound blade review and honest commentary. I agree 100%. Love the blade shape, and I would like micarda scales, too...purple and black for me.
@@WeAllJuggleKnives that’s what I was thinking! Still eyeing a CRKT crossbones but that’s a bit flashier in my opinion. Also given I’ve had pocket clips snap on one or two crkt M16s and my Shenanigan I’m a bit wary of crkts haha. The black would blend in well but I agree a nice green would look cool too
Yeah, D2 is not as sought after these days. Back in the day, even Benchmade would use D2, but I guess a lot of new steels have come out that have changed the market.
I like this knife, but: I'm not into black color scales, nor the cost. If I'm going to drop $50-$60 on a knife I'm wanting it to say "USA" or "made in USA" (like Chase, Buck, or CRKT etc.). Great review, as usual, Ty.

Best reviewer… he actually uses the gear in the field.
Thanks, bro!

Thanks, my friend!
That's a pretty neat looking knife, buddy. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, bro, likewise!
Pretty slick ass knife brother, I agree on the scales for sure. Blacked out or stone washed with the green micarta or OD green.
👊💀
Thanks for watching, bro!
How did they know I was looking for a slim lightweight “gentleman/suit knife” looks slick
Excellent :] would definitely go well with a suit, nice that it is low profile, will not attract unwanted attention.

Reminds me of a ganzo firebird I saw the other day.
Nice blade I like D2 .
Trying times indeed sir .
Thanks for watching!
Great review brother ❤
The D2 blade steel kills it for me. How did D2 become a "budget" steel?
Otherwise, a good-looking knife. Enjoyed the review, brother.

I have a 9-dollar folder from Menard's that works for me!
Nice! Also interesting is what our US Supreme Court might do in the future. 🇺🇸
Got my popcorn ready

I like it. I don’t know anything about that company or where they are located, so I’ll have to look them up.
Can’t wait for the next knives called Shieldon Brangelina, Kimye and Bennifer. 😂
LOL that would rock
