Hey Jake, I hope all is well with your health, kudos for another great review, and I did notice at WMK they do indeed have the 9049G1-G; their description is missing the word “Empoleon” (that would probably explain why you couldn’t find it there) and it costs $49.98 before the 10% discount. Of course, WMK may have just added it right after you made the video.

I own this “Shieldon Empoleon” and both rings on the pivot screw are perfectly aligned and flush with the scales. Smooth and seamless. Not seen any reviews mentioning this fit and finish imperfection. Perhaps your reassembly of blade to handle from US Dave was a little off. I love this knife and think it is the best “Shieldon” model and well worth its price. If it didn’t come with that “one size doesn’t fit all pouch/case”, it would probably cost less.
Perhaps, but not too likely, you see, I tried several times to fix the blade centering - I don't want to blame a company for something that wasn't their fault, that would be so wrong for me to do. I have some pretty good skills with fixing blade centering, and what I showed you was the best that this knife was going to be. Remember, that not every example coming off the assembly line will be 100% indentical. That's the whole reason to have a QC check at the end - some example will have flaws. Mine has a bit of a flaw with the blade centering. I am very glad that your's is perfect, but just because yours is perfect doesn't mean that I failed to assemble mine knife properly.
Finally ordered a Kubey Atlas with the blue accents . I’ve waited a while for this one . I wish it was cheaper but it’s not , it’s been @ $165 for a while .

Indeed. I try to be very careful with my health. They didn't find anything, when I was in the ER, I will follow up with my family doctor.
