Congo African Grey Parrot Cage SetUp and Misc Birdie Items, Perches etc.

- I had the urge to show you Zaz's cage set ups. He has a sleep cage, a bigger daytime cage, a play stand, a travel cage for car rides, picnics etc. And a pet carrier.. for vet trips :) He knows when he sees the pet carrier that hes probably going somwhere he would rather not be going. Zaz is a Congo African Grey. He is 10 yrs old,we have had him 2 yrs this April. He is so much fun and brings us much joy.
This is so sweet.. You can see the joy the bride brings you both in different ways.. For you to feed and love and for you're husband also to love and build him cool stuff and keep him in toys.. You are both inspirinchnal bird owners.. Many could take many leafs from you're book.. Very cool ppl.. My type of ppl love from Ireland.. My new macaw chick is a month and 5 days today... I broke all sorts of travle laws to go see him.. I needed it for my state of mind.. We have been big birdless for 2 years since coco my grandads 82year old bird died.. He had been a wild caught chick 84 years ago and clipped for 45 of those years.. Till I was born and got a voice he free flue for me when I was 7 years old.. We went everywhere together.. He was supposed to be my dad's bird when my grandparents died but he was my bird from the second I was born.. And history is repeating our aughter will take ownership of our chick when we die.. Its something that was vip to have sorted before deciding to get another.. Its taken 2 years to find a breeder we love and trust.. I'm very exited to have big bird home... We're calling him big bird till he finds his name.. Because he is huge bigger than older chicks with him.. It has to be a him... Surely

really lucky bird that last perch is just spectacular your husband deserves a medal for all the work hes put in and awesome creative ideas. i couldn't actually think of any were better for a parrot hes 1 lucky guy :)

What a lucky bird you have. I love african greys a lot. I just lost mine in september to PDD and I miss him terribly. He was only 5 and a half years old. God bless you and your birds!
+Joanna Banana im so sorry for your loss, Joanna :( I cant imagine it, We have three greys now as you can see if you saw our other videos. We love them all so much. I hope you find another grey, the one you lost cant be replaced but another one could help fill the hurt/void in your heart.. bless you.

Very nice, I am getting an African grey parrot next week. I also heard that foraging toys to retrieve pellets or seeds are good and wooden toys are good to keep his beak in good shape. Thank you❤️
Yes thats true, are you getting a Timneh or a Congo? They are so fun and wonderful. Are you in a Grey groups on Facebook? I can tell you of good ones.

I wish I could convince my mom to get me a cockatiel or conure. I have been doing research since February on all the beginner birds and one day I will get a cockatoo or african grey. I have actually been doing research on all the animals I can think of like sugar gliders, hamsters, birds, lizards, ext. All I have to do is convince my mom to get me a pet but I mainly want a bird.
Its somthing like 28x24 from floor to top perch on play stand its about 62 inches. Living space is like 32in high. I got it at bird cages galore dot com it wont let me post a link here or I would.

What is the purpose for the light? Is the light in the room not enough?

Can an African Grey live in the same aviary with cockatiels??? It's a bit big so do you think it's fine ???
No, not at all..the cocatiels will end up injured or dead. Smaller birds and larger birds need to be in separate enclosures.

You can get those at any pet store first of all, or go on amazon and search up rope perch for birds under $4 and you'll find the same one in bit brighter colors and for cheap or just go expensive or go on any other website.

is that because your bird wont go in or because theres no perches? My hubby added PVC perchs and food/water dishs.
yes he does... but goes quiet when he sees a camera.
