I have african grey parrot. 5 months old and he only eats apples all the time... No seeds no vegetables no other thing.... How i offer them all veggies and fruits so he gets all nutrients they need. Thanks.
@@ssjumani just eating apple isnt good. Try chopping the apple real small.. and copping vegtable real small.. add in a small amount of vegtatables with the apple, he will toss out the vegtables but eventualy he may try them. Do you have sweet potatoes there? Try baking a sweet potato in the microwave or oven and mashing it with the apple and the veggie. a lot will get wasted every day till he decides to try it. It took our first grey (Zaz) 2 1/2 yrs to eat healthy and yes everyday that food was tossed out.. but now all three of our greys eat healthy.
First I saw vegetables and then I saw batter. Could you tell me what you added to make the batter? Then, how many degrees to you bake it in the oven and for how long, please.Thanks -- Dee

Almonds and Pstachios and walnuts.. 2/3 a day. NO peanuts!! Moisture inside the peanut shell can cause aspergillus a fungus which grows on their lungs and KILLS them!!!
My Blue and Gold liked Brazil nuts. Remember that Macaws need a little more fat in their diets than other parrots. You can check with some Macaw groups for what kinds of food they should be eating. Mine even liked to have chicken once in a while! I have seen bags of food in the pet stores showing a Macaw, a Cockatoo and an African Grey all on the same package as though the food were suitable for all three birds, which can hardly be true, because Macaws come from South America, Cockatoos come from Australia, and African Greys come from Africa. Three different birds from three different continents may have some similarities in their diets, but have many differences, too. There are many bird groups that can be accessed from and joined on Facebook, and each species' group can give you advice about diet.

@@Aleahh1 didn't try. Im from Pakistan and there is no pellets available for birds....we only have options for mix seeds, veggies and fruits.

At what age i can give these mixed fruits & veges to my CAG? Now my CAG is about 3 months old

Bake in desired pans, 400 degrees 25 min or till done. We cool, slice and freeze in baggies.

we use cornbread jiffy mix. And bake according to package directions. Hope this helps.

They don't eat all of it, most is frozen and saved for later.
