For Honor is an action game developed and published by Ubisoft. The game allows players to play the roles of historical forms of soldiers and warriors such as knights, samurai, vikings, wu lin and now an outlander faction. For Honor is constantly being updates with new heroes, new executions/finishers, new emotes, new effects and hero reworks/nerfs/buffs. For Honor has 35 heroes available across all factions:

I just had a thought.
What if the sohei finisher was like the charged bashes. There was an idea brought up by someone else here about losing charges and it not being a guaranteed hit, and I started thinking of what solutions could actually be made, so:
What if there was a charge up window like centurion/warden/warmonger/etc. with 1 soul charge being lost every .25 seconds (starting number tweakable)
Each soul charge would add 15 damage to the attack. You wouldn't be able to use it until you had at least 3 charges, but not all charges would need to be used. This would raise the skill ceiling, viability, and variability of sohei.
Maybe, as a long stretch, the animation could chamge based on the charge, with the soul attack being based on 3 different levels of charge (1-2 = light soul weapon attack, 3-4 = heavy soul weapon attack, 5-6 being original soul attack with the main weapon)

misty dont go for a bash after a heavy parry, just do a light to collect the soul for the direction to want
He takes the bash then the 11 damage light and followd up with a soul light instead. I personally like his combo more since the 400ms soul lights are hard to block to begin with

95 damage grab is goofy as hell, glad I don't play this anymore
He does 6-9 damage on his lights and idk the exact number for his heavy but it's pretty low if you took away the 95 damage attack he would be useless and fighting soheis as shugoki is pretty easy I haven't fought them as eny other character so in my opinion they need the 95 damage because if they didn't have it they would be complete dogshit

character might be fine if there was no free guaranteed way to hit the grab, with missing it losing most but not all charges so that people actually figure out what soul charge is linked to what weapon instead of reading off a grocery list of actions to do
like imagine being on the receiving end, your actions of using a heavy move are not punished by being parried into death, its by being read which is risky to the sohei since it would be stack loss and damage taken

On bash you can do a heavy for the exe. On a heavy parry you can go straight into a light finisher if you dont bash first

I had a dude literally get mad at me for using zhanhu but the match before dude literally insta killed me two rounds in a row 😂 and zhanhu has such a low pick rate for a reason he’s like ight, he’s not op by any means, complaining while crutching on hyper armor and insta kill is crazy

Would you prefer they just made another cookie cutter bash orange blue finishers? Sohei is breaking the mold that has been slowly but surely making other characters less unique. I'm sure you'll be less upset when you learn Sohei is almost always negative in Frame advantage, if you are familiar/worried about frame advantage
