I think the gripe of Aventus comes because of the price. I'm sure people would understand why a fragrance would change due to oil regulations. But why would they keep increasing the price on a product that is now a shadow of what it once was? Greed, pride, who knows. But thankfully, there are clones out there that are absolutely amazing. I used to own a 2016 batch of Creed Aventus. I sold it, and now I have CDNIM Limited Edition, and let me tell you that stuff is amazing once you let it "macerate" for a month/s. It's very smoky, masculine and long lasting, it's as if Aventus had an intense version/parfum version, i love it.
I couldn’t agree more mate 👌 I've echoed those very words on a cpl of my other Aventus videos. I don't blame creed for not being able to make Aventus the way they use to but I sure do blame them for charging more and more for what is now essentially a far worse product. In my 'best creed Aventus clones' videos I've hailed Club De Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition as the best one available, for exactly the reasons you described. After it's macerated it gives off that lovely smokey Aventus vibe and pushes out a wonderful bergamont/pineapple medaly before hitting the sweet woods. It's without doubt a top notch alternative and far better than any creed batch since 2019 👍 Thanks again for the great comments 🍻
Aventus addict here. After trying almost every clone on the market (30+ perfumes), I finally found ONE that indeed smells like the old Aventus. It’s Loewe Esencia Elixir. Please try it, you will be baffled. I am willing to send you a sample from The Netherlands at my own expense to hear your opinion about it

I did look at getting a bottle of the Esencia Elixir by Loewe, I might pick up a bottle next week as uts been a while since I bought another inspired by fragrence. Funnily enough I've decided to sell my 15X01 as I'm just not going to use it, I know it sounds stupid but it feels too valuable to waste lol. I'm really glad I bought it though as it was fantastic to have another genuine bottle of a great batch. nice review & comments on seeking out older bottles. i never thought X01 was a screamer (whereas X21 was) but this was the best smelling that from year, so dark & fruity.

Good advice overall, 15X01 is so amazing... I got a 15U11 unused that I'm considering selling(for the last 3 years lol), but my main issue is I have no idea how to value it, I haven't found any unused being sold on ebay last three years, might be some settings I have wrong, but ye...
@tomken91 hi mate, I appreciate the the comments 👍🏻 I did eventually sell my 15X01, gorgeous as it is I just couldn't bring myself to use it lol. Incidentally I did sell a 15u11, it was the 120ml bottle (around 100ml remaining) but without the box/papers, it was a massive pineapple bomb! If memory serves I let it go for around £450 ish. If you decide to sell it maybe go on a trusted forum, basenotes or a well respected FB group, ebay is full of scammers, buyers and sellers unfortunately 👍🏻
Hi mate, I haven't sampled that particular batch but I can happily say that ant batch from 2018 will be far better in terms of scent profile and projection than any of the current batches from 2020 onwards 👍

Cheers for the kind comments mate 👍 Hopefully you have struck lucky too with your recent purchases 🤞👌 You can still find genuine batches out there, even on ebay but I'd steer way clear of any of the grail batches (normally 15X01/X21) as they were faked so heavily. That doesn't mean you can't still get other batches from 2015 onwards, which are still going to be excellent and genuine too but it's just such a minefield. Which batches did you go for mate?
Yeah ive not gone for any of the so called holy grails (i dont think) so fingers crossed mate i dont get stung 😂 14H01,17S01 and 18G02. Never thought i would get into this batch chasing either! I took my old bottles for granted 😂
@MikeyH-hs8zk nice mate 👌 I haven't ever got my nose on the 14H01 but from my recollection any 14 is going to be fantastic, my 14G01 was a monster performer 👌 You will love the 17S01, I have a bottle of the very same batch, it's excellent and very wel balanced, again its a beast on performance 💪 I think back to when I got my first bottle, 15x21 and how I sprayed it like lynx deodorant 😀, how I wish I knew then what I know now. Let me know how you get on with your batches when they arrive mate, I'm sure you will be very happy 😊 🤞👌
Good question! 15X01 is heavier on the bergamont/pineapple where as the LE has more smoke and birch. One of the very best dark berry/birch batches is a 16M01, LE is closer to that 👌
Hi mate, longevity isn't a problem with Aventus from 2019 or before, it's just the later batches that really lacked the staying power. If you can find a reasonably priced 2017/18 or even a 19 (the 19No1 I had was pretty good) you won't be disappointed 👍

It was just shear luck mate 😃, I wouldn't normally bother looking at a 15X01 ad on ebay as its always gonna be fake lol Boredom and curiosity made me delve a little further and when I realised he wouldn't post it out as he was too afraid of being scammed then I saw he was 40 mins away I cldnt believe my luck! You mentioned a few key points on how to tell if a bottle has been messed with, why not go in depth on that topic in a separate video I’m sure with your years of following Aventus you’ve had many experiences with positive outcomes as well as negative for example the new trend of filling legit bottles with much newer stuff or even worse diluting or topping a legit batch. Many guys say certain great batch’s don’t last and it smells like it’s suppose to does have those older notes but doesn’t last 🤔, yeah unless it’s some weak sauce like 15n01 which smells great but does not project unless you break a sweat other 15s 14 16 even 17 should project or you really have the worst lot out of those more then likely your juice got topped off with unscented perfumer oil. I think you could Delph in and break down so many key factors that can only be learned by experience and money invested/lost on the hobby. Another one could be that the bottle once again is legit the pictures are great even under the cap looks good. You receive the bottle the collar however doesn’t meet all the factors so you start looking into the inner atomizer tube and the assembly within and if the collar doesn’t check out and their are other questionable problems within and it smells/is Aventus just isn’t meeting fully the right notes for that year and other batch’s and ofc they’ll be distinct differences but within some years you can pick up on nuances for that year that bottle etc. and then their are the Facebook groups quote on quote ogs that are simply too old to not be legit 😉😉we all know how that works why not talk about that as well not only the risk on eBay but what I’m saying is say what not many will say go in-depth break it all down put it all on the table you got your collection you have the juice now get down and dirty and go where no one wants to go 😎

As you know the world of Aventus has some very murky waters to traverse, more so now than ever with basically all the good batches either being held on to or used up. The scammers seem to be rife as ever though, I saw an 18G01 being sold with some great pics and it went for around 4-500 then the next day he was selling another one, same images! The guy has 100 percent feedback too! I've seen fakes in real life, had a fake sold to me, watched videos of fakers decanting real juice and replacing it with a nasty knock-off, it's crazy what they will do. Even as you say you can delve a bit deeper if you see the atomizer straw isn't the right length etc but by that point you have already committed and bought it and have to go through the refund process. I will do a proper video on what to check and some of the stories/videos I've seen, it's a great idea so cheers buddy 👍 😀
