- Hello guys, The next video I will show you how to make an amplifier using a C5200 transistor without connecting the speaker directly to DC like the previous version, but using a non-DC isolated capacitor through the speaker, circuit for Extremely powerful output and I chose for each component value to make the best operating circuit and the thermal problem you use a large aluminum radiator, to sufficient heat dissipation and safety for transistors.
This is the simplest circuit, easy to find components for new people.

Y do you have to insulate the heatsink when you can install it directly?

If you only test it, you can install it directly, If you use it, should be isolated for safety.

@@ShareTechCreative I am in a situation where I want to get the most undistorted volume as possible from a 12v battery. It can be just one speaker if need be. Is this the best way or is there something even more powerful or optimal?
This is mono amplifier.
NOT BAD SOUND ON THE VIDEO BUT I THINK ITS NOT GOOD TO JUDGE THE SOUND RECORDED ON NOT GREAT MICROPHONE . USUALLY TRANSISTOR SOUND IS GOOD LIKA 7+ OUT OF 10
Terrific video! More of these simple class a amplifier builds, maybe some simple small tube amps, preamp, or simple one for driving headphones. Any of those using minimum number of components like this would be excellent! Simple is better sometimes 😀

great class a amplifier 2sc5200 transistor extremely powerful
Try a 4 Ohm pull up resistor, instead of 10 Ohm. To reduce distortion, the speaker impedance needs to be higher than the pull up resistor. Another thing, take a volt meter, and make sure the collector of the transistor is exactly 1/2 the total supply voltage. The use of a 4 ohm resistor would make it so the amp draws 1.5 amps@12 volts. (Just within the limits of the power supply). The resistor would dissipate 9 watts, and so would the transistor. That's a 10 watt resistor you're using. The transistor can surely handle 9 watts. That would give much better control of the voice coil, and drive the speaker closer to the rails. You will have to reduce the resistance between the base and collector of the transistor, to bias it properly. The amp will use 18 watts out of the 19.2 watts available from that power supply. It will get warm, that's expected with a class "A" amplifier. That simple amplifier can be made to sound really good, with the right resistance values!

My dream will be to do a small hifi two channel power amp using two amps of this with a shared linear power supply of same 12v 3A, aluminium case with hear disipator radiator passive, on off switch with little red color led, iec power conector, two pairs of banana 4mm comoatible speaker cable binfing post, two rca female conector. Would be a really high end amp for my really high sensitive Klipsch speakers, my passive TVC preamp. Thanks again you are the boss, if you could manufacrure it i would buy you done. What you mixed on the transistor while installing it on the heat sink? And can I use 100 K ohm potentiometer in place of 10 K potentiometer? If not, what is the reason. And also how many ohm speaker you have used in the amplifier?
