🚨 What do you think about Guardiola’s tactical change? 🚨 Was abandoning his usual style a genius move? Or should Chelsea’s have adapted better in the second half? Share your thoughts below! 👇
@AGameOfTwoHalvesChannel Pep's style won us a lot, more than we ever dreamed of. But it's also time to change the tactics, at least untill he has a healthy squad & the new players adapt to his style. It worries me facing the likes of Liverpool, Madrid & other playing our usual style, with what we have & the form some players are in. A City fan since 1971-1972.
Pep is the reason why we won so much in almost a decade, There will be no other Pep. Now that this is out of the way, no tactics will help us vs Arsenal or Madrid, with Nunes ( not his fault), or Lewis at right back! City should/should've signed, even a half decent back. Knowing very well, Walker was aging, slowing down & Lewis was never the proper replacement.
A lot of the so called bigger teams they have coming up employ a high line. It would be an effective tactic to get valuable points in the next 6-8 games
Lol the same tactics was used against Arsenal last season & then he never used it again till this game. He used this tactics just to avoid high press & to exploit their high line.

Matheus Nunes is key to Peps new tactics Matheus is class with tons of potential he needs to be on the pitch
He does but not sure full back is going to work long term. Would be interested to see him in CM

Hopefully akanji or Khusanov play there
Good point. Do you think Akanji could fill in until the end of the season? Play more as a typical tucked in RCB and let Gvardiol get forward more.
@AGameOfTwoHalvesChannel him or potentially khusanov could do the job

Im a city fan... really loved your analysis
Thanks! Will keep Man City in mind for future episodes! 🙌🏽
Good question and nice analysis. Do you think he consulted Haland? He thrives in more direct and on a partner.
Impossible to know. But I’m sure Haaland would be happy for bit of direct football when there’s that much space in behind.
Really helpful analysis.
Thanks Michael! Make sure to like, subscribe and share! 🙌🏽
@AGameOfTwoHalvesChannel You're welcome. One small edit: the lineup you used had Dias as CB, but he's still injured unfortunately; it was Akanji.
Only used this aganist chelsea narrow high defensive line 😂😂 he wont use it again.

As long as teams THINK Pep doesn’t mind going long, it adds an element of doubt to their press. Plus, Arsenal are next up…
@ Hope he uses it again vs Arsenal as Marmoush can beat the defenders with pace
Agree!
The spirit of Mourinho is growing in top coaches finally.
More Allardyce than Mourinho! 😂
Hes been going long for a while.
Not as consistently in one game as that for a while.
