Blah blah blah, Liverpool is still better than Chelsea defensively.
What Slot preached at Feyenoord was having a plus one (including his own goalkeeper) in build up. If you press hard on the right side the players will be instructed to just drop back a bit more to create the plus one. One quick rondo and a long pass to a winger on the opposite side and the entire press will have been a pointless waste of energy. Whatever you do against a Slot lead team, he'll create a plus one in build up. His teams are so well drilled on this.
How when they just had 2 shots on target?
Non penalty xG = 1.15 vs 0.99. Then consider all the blocked shots (Palmer/Jones) and attempts like Palmer and Veiga off target you can see Liverpool were troubled throughout the game.
I think Chelsea wingers are too comfortable staying in the wind areas waiting for 1v1 situations. They should learn to make blind-side runs against high line. There were situations where they could have run at Liverpool's backline but they didn't.

There is context. In open play it was 1-1, so obviously defensive weaknesses were exposed and if you watched the game it could have gone either way. Teams can see that as a way to go at liverpool and it lays a blueprint in future.
