I asked chat gpt what was the most interesting thing it had learned today and it told me about a scientific discovery of an organism and it said i could read more about it on the internet. So i tried to read more about this organism and could not find any information about it. When i told chat gpt i couldn't find any additional information on the organism, it apologized. My question is : where did it get the information? Did it just make something up or did it receive misinformation to pass on to the unsuspecting?
I've been serializing a speculative fiction novel that is written as a cautionary tale about AI and gene manipulation. I was just curious about what your thoughts were about one thing: some of the most creative people have endured personal traumas and/or have they come from rough backgrounds. If AI begins to make life more comfortable for humans, you don't think that we are going to create such a perfect environment that may impede our ability to tap into that creativity, or perhaps we'd be so riddled with pleasure that we may lose our vision and desire to create things?
Will you guys, please please adress this question, as to , why god did not create a optimum-quality banana, apple , oranges , strawberrys etc ... Why humans are required to intervene & "artificially" make (gentically modify) banana to make it edible(suitable) for humans Eg. Bananas are a cross between the Musa acuminata and Musa balbisiana bananas, neither of which are edible alone. The latter has too many seeds despite its sweetness. In contrast, the others are seedless but less sweet and more challenging to eat due to their toughness. The hybrid banana we eat today is seedless primarily and sweet
As I understand it, there view is that the death that came upon the world via sin was spiritual death not mere physical death. They have their reasons for thinking this and they are quite fleshed out and sound. I would explain them to you in detail but I have to ask are you even going to listen or is your mind already made up.
How do we know that the Bible has skipped so many generations? There has to be a lot missing to make up for the fact that Adam and Eve were created during the last ice age
They were not. The first homo sapiens are from all over Africa conservatively dated at least 200,000 years ago. They competed with other hominids for perhaps 140,000 years before permanently leaving Africa to expand all over Eurasia somewhere around 60,000 years ago and becoming the last hominid standing (figuratively and literally)
@@ji8044 so the expansion would line up with the tower of Babel and the next story is Abraham which we know is about 4000 years ago. That leaves a gap of around 45000 years that young earth creationists just have no accounting of at all. That is part of the reason they just completely ignore scientific evidence of humans existing tens of thousands of years ago and leads them to reject a majority of empirical data.
@@ji8044 right and that lines up with the Tower of Babel in the Bible. But the next event in the Bible is Abraham which we know is somewhere around 4,000 years ago. That leaves a gap of around 56,000 years or more that young earth creationists cannot account for. That leads them to reject the evidence of human beings being alive tens of thousands of years ago. Because of that they reject other empirical data.

Sorry, according to Genesis there was water before the Sun and of course that is strictly impossible. The days of creation have nothing at all to do with the astrophysics of the universe. Attempting to make them do so requires coming up with twisted and convoluted explanations like one part was written from space looking down and the other part from the earth looking up. Still, as usual, I enjoyed the video.
you didn't listen at all. The first thing you have to do, in any scientific endeavor, is establish a frame of reference. What is the frame of reference in the creation text? The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. This means that we are on the surface of the Earth, not in space. When it says "Let there be light" in 1:3, it's talking about light penetrating through the atmosphere for the first time in Earth's history. Everything makes sense if you know you are on Earth, and not in space. Nowhere in the creation text in Genesis 1:1-31 does it change frame of reference from earth looking up to space looking down, so I don't know what you are talking about.
The sun was created in verse 1 (" heavens and the earth" because there's no Hebrew word for universe) and referenced in verse 16. There's no verb tense in Hebrew and verse 16 would have been better translated "and so God HAD ALREADY made..."
@@daklord No sorry, a human wrote that text, not God in space. You only want to say it that way because nothing in Genesis actually coincides with what we know about the universe.
@@ji8044 I dont understand what you are arguing. Of course a human wrote that text. We are discussing the merit and logic of the content of the creation text of Genesis 1. Verse 2 shows you where the frame of reference is.
