I love that she only flat ironed the roots! I get so confused when ppl do silk wraps and they roller set the hair, flat iron the curls out of it, then flat iron the hair again to create more curls/body. It aways seemed kinda redundant. This is perfect

chai momma Heat training is not a real thing. You cannot heat “train” your hair. It is merely deliberate heat damage.
I absolutely love this! Just did a roller set on my hair today and it feels like old times. My hair is also very healthy and shiny. I wish more stylists did this.

I love everything about this hair. The color is beautiful and roller sets are less stressful than those old fashioned marcel curling irons. Hair is fried with those irons.

Well these old stylists need to teach these new stylists.
I noticed that these flat irons don't always get as close, because I look at them a keep thinking they aren't fully ironed. But most State Boards stopped requiring the education on Marcelle irons years ago because of the amount of people getting burned by newer cosmetologists. The only video I've found on a channel like Eden's is from one called Deeper Than Hair, and, don't quote me on this I'm posting the link in this comment but it was a bit ago I watched it, she either has only one client she will break her Marcelle irons out for or she did this video for demo... I can't remember. Me personally I purchased, a Marcelle style curling iron from Sally beauty that was my baby until is disappeared while moving so I understand the love of the tool and how easy the movement was with it.
