You can't really classify Wagakki band. They cover so many styles, mostly rock but also ballad, and even a bit of jazz.
They are a 8 pieces band with:
    - Suzuhana Yuuko: singer, pianist and sometimes sword dancer. She's the one who created the band with the flutist and the koto player.
    - Machiya: guitar
    - Ninagawa Beni: shamisen (that's the girl with the traditional japanese string instrument)
    - Ibukuro Kiyoshi: koto (a sort of horizontal harp. He's not present in this video)
    - Isu Asa: bass
    - Kaminaga Daisuke: shakuhachi (a long bambou flute, not seen in this video)
    - Wasabi: battery
    - Kurona: wadaiko (japanese drum)
If you want to see more of them, there's two channels to look at:
Their official channel: th-cam.com/channels/XYztmiId4iVgfx3wY-WnZQ.html I strongly recommend listening to Sun Wheel (heavy rock oriented) and Queen of the night (more traditionnal)
Frank Garcia's channel: th-cam.com/channels/uydh5k3KpO_zqZK_HzSctA.html. Only live video's but this band is even greater on scene . I recommend this video from him th-cam.com/video/ponTbDDMYjw/w-d-xo.html. It is the song you reacted to followed by their "anthem" Akatsuki no Ito.

Wagakki band has 8 members in total so "Homura" only shows 5 of them. The video actually gets 2 parts, they immediately perform "Akatsuki no ito" afterthat and the remaining 3 members including lead singer joins (Btw, only lead singer and Shamisen player are girls).
Strongly recommend music videos of "Ignite" or "Sun wheel" if you prefer heavy rock songs with all those traditional instruments. Also, one of their most famous songs is "Senbonzakura" (Beware of copyright, probably need some adjustments if you react to this music video).

I came across Wagakki Band through my interest in vocaloid music. Wagakki imho would be a fusion of Japanese+ Western instruments. For the former I can identify Japanese drums (wadaiko?), Shakuhachi, shamisen, koto. The style of music would be rock+Japanese style (not sure if from kabuki or noh). If you know Kanji, you can see the message or words written (not tattoed bc the theme or word changes) on drummer's bare back.

Depends what the suggestions says, guys. If it says "Homura" and no links are shared, then it's gonna be only "Homura". To be honest, there are two different instrumentals here (wadaiko+Homura). The original of "Homura" doesn't even contain bass and shamisen solos, because it's in the guitarist's solo before joining the band. They make a lot of instrumentals though, with different instrument combinations and show elements. th-cam.com/video/TOOksNWfDPQ/w-d-xo.html

Homura was orginally composed by Machiya, the lead guitarist. In their recent videos, only the modern instruments played it. And yes, Asa is a guy. he likes to wear feminine clothes (but duh, he looks beautiful still) he also has his own band and he is the writer of Yoshiwara Rament (Lament) which the Wagakki band plays on their live shows. Asa was asked on an interview if what is his sexuality and does he likes boy or girl, he said he likes girls.

Wagakki Band was originally started as a 'Vocaloid' cover band but have grown well beyond that level (I think they took on the Vocaloid challenge because Vocaloid singing is usually difficult or impossible for most humans to sing ... they proved it was no challenge if you're as talented as these people and are now on to bigger and better things.)

Wow, no-one react this with first part on wadaiko (traditional japanese drums), great reaction. :) They have more members, koto (horizontal harph) player, shakuhachi (japanese flute) player and female vocalist, she singing in more traditional japanese style (shigin). This string instrument it's shamisen. You should react more of them. :)
Can you react japanese artist Kokia and her song "Il Mare Dei Suoni", live version from History tour concert 2012? She is amazing, I love her so much, her music is so beautiful and deep. Kokia make music in genres like folk, folk pop, pop, indie pop and classical crossover, she has classical music education, but only in few songs she singing more operatic, on this one she singing in this way. If you don't want operatic singing, please react song "Chouwa Oto ~With Reflection~" from the same concert. I recommended her on many channels, but she is not that much popular, because of it, almost no-one want to react her songs, it's so sad, because she deserves it to be more popular. :( Can you react her?
