    As I write this, I’m currently in physical therapy for bicep tendonitis. At home I don’t have any materials to help me recover other than frozen food.       I began using mine two years ago in January.

      And the shocking thing is that I was doing my middle and bottom chest on the 2nd level, which is 40 pounds, and in 3 weeks my chest dropped fat multiple times. It gave me results that fast.
      Folks who follow and use it like the videos show will only get stronger because they are not working the muscles through reps. All I do is reps. I use the adjustable kind

    Well I have one since i work between 12 to 14 hour days alone in my office. I like it. I do a set of 10 with the pump then drop and do 20 push ups, pop up and do 25 4 count side straddle hops and it gets me where I need to go. and I experimented with it by flipping it and doing curls and putting it behind my back and squeezing. also holding it at different angels away from my chest and actually flipping it upside down for a different work out. this was a great buy for me

    Cool man I'm in a wheelchair so I think this is perfect for me although my upper body is quiet strong anyway . This is great for the days I can't go out. Your review helped I bought one

    These were sold by Joe Weider in the early 50s; known as Apollon Multiplex Exerciser. Bodybuilder Leo Robert wrote an artricle in 1951 detailing how to use it.

    I just got mine about a week or so ago and dude I love it!!!... You can create your own workout with it. I haven't made it to 8 or 10 yet 😅 but I am starting to feel and see results

    Dude, I got this after seeing your reviews and I LOVE IT! Have worked out for 43 years, mostly with weights, and this feels great. I hope it lasts as some reviewers said it broke and leaked oil.

      I train of 100kg (Im from Germany) every Day.And two Days per Week i train hard with heavy Kettlebells.Eat well and put L-Arginin and Pre-Workout Booster and you get good Abs ! I love this Machine

    Flip it upside down to work your biceps. The screws get kinda loose after a while but I LOVE this thing.

    You can try different positions with it too, and hit other parts, including your back. Try it over your head, or hanging down behind your back, or hold it downwards instead of upwards. I have one and they're great. I love it!

    20 is pretty hard it takes me like 10 seconds to get the rep it's like time under tension but a lot of machines have their limits this will probably only work for like a few weeks to a month

    How did yours come so unsmashed? My box was beat to hell and the plastic hook that holds the handles together was broken. Try removing that from the box with the handles expanded. I had to cut the box apart. Fortunately, the company included a second hook in the package. Don't forget that you can hold one handle against your chest and do biceps curls. Plus, if you hold the unit horizontally over your head, it's like working on a pec deck.

    There is so much more you can do with it than this one exercise. I've come up with many different ways to use this at various angles and holds so you can hit every major muscle group with the exception of the calves. It is the most versatile and effective piece of exercise equipment I've ever purchased and for a price of about $30 to boot.

      @@chocolatesquirrel2002 Sit in a chair, put the unit between your legs with the top pointing down and the handles against your thighs then squeeze the handles together using your legs, you can put your hands on the handles to act as a cushion between your legs and the handles, don't squeeze with your hands just your legs.
      Another leg exercise you can do is for the hamstrings i.e. the rear of the legs. Bend your upper body and your legs in a 45 degree angle, hold the unit with the top pointing down with one of the handles leaning against your lower chest and abdomen then pull the handle that is farthest away up toward the one on your chest. This simulates the motion of a Tbar row.

The hands are only used as a cushion between your legs and the handles, do not squeeze with your hands only your legs.

    It's good for resistance, but it doesn't do anything for your abdominals.
    1000 sit ups won't give you abs either, neither does this device,
    unless you do crunches at the same time.
    Do that for 30 days and watch what happens.

    i have the sams exact power twister and i did level 14 which is 308 lbs

    A little bit flawed as they don't provide outward resistance. You can close it just by gently moving it slowly. The more effort you put in the more it resists...

    I may get something like this after I build a home gym. I will still need a rack, barbell, etc., to do squats and deadlifts. I might as well as also use those for bench press and overhead press.

      I work in the Office (Because broke my Shoulder of a Accident in the old Work ,had 88kg of Mucles ) But now i have bulk Muscle 110kg and train every Day with this ,2 Days per Week heavy Training and im better before the Accident.I dont hang up and get sick and tired!     I bought it for travel; should have checked out the weight before I bought it. You’ll need to reduce your clothes or shoes to stay at the 50lbs weight for this item, it’s heavier than I thought. Also have the OYO … which seems to target different groups than this item. Will keep at it

    The fact that there is no resistance on the eccentric is a big deal for me. I'm really glad that you mentioned that because I have one in my Amazon cart that I'm going to need to remove now, knowing that. Thanks, man.

      and the shocking thing is I was doing my middle and bottom chest on the 2nd level 2nd level which is 40 pounds and in 3 weeks my chest dropped fat mutiple times it gave me results that fast
      These kind don't need the resistance going back out cause these use muscles only and have alot of pressure

    I don't recommend using this too frequently. Too much repetitive motion will make your muscles used to the contraption therefore making the workout useless in the long run. Of course you will feel it in the beginning.

      Found out the hard way. Just got mine and did the highest level. My muscles are literally obliterated and I did it 2 days ago

      @@thedarksaiyanlord3406 well its no way to even do it on the hardest setting with these kind cause you won't be able to move it
      With these you do it on the lowest settings until u can do reps easy with that setting
      Well on the harder levels it still takes a min to do each rep cause it's using muscles only no momentum can be used with these when you do them without trying to close by putting the thing over knee for help
      I maxed out at 110 which was a level 9

    If the total resistance is 400 pounds, then two (2) is 40 pounds of resistance, 4 is 80 pounds of resistance, 8 is 160 pounds of resistance, 10 is 200 pounds of resistance, 12 is 240 pounds of resistance, 14 is 280 pounds of resistance, 16 is 320 pounds of resistance, 18 is 360 pounds of resistance, and as I said 20 is 400 pounds of resistance.

      Its not 400 it maxes at 200 cause each setting is 20 pound increases

    I’m all for using different ways to build muscle rather than loading up the weights on the bar. We need to confuse our muscles and shock them with different ways of working them. Also use your imagination when working with this because it’s not big and bulky you manipulate it all kinds of ways.

    Not sure if anyone tried this at the corner of the wall, where the position of it is V, with one side against the wall. You can literally do a chest press at a higher angle which activates the entire upper chest like crazy. I got a massive pump, very much like when I do a cable pull diagonally upwards. ;D

    You could also put it at the easiest setting and do the following;
    Continue pushing the handles . You are trying to push the handles together untill they touch.
    Of course you can't, but the muscles are working like a bitch. This is overcoming isometrics.
    Try for 10 to 30 seconds.
    Everything is turned on
    Try it for yourselves.
    Muscles need intensity not movement.

    It would be better if it has a double piston , one to push one to pull. I have one and it does work, but it would be better with equal resistance in both directions, just an opinion.

    How bizarre that there's no negative resistance. The negative portion is much more productive, so that's like doing a lot of half reps. I think I'll stick with my 100kg Spring. Excellent review brother thank you for that. 👌
