I got to see Delvin last week! He had different sidemen but they came to play I tell ya! As a bass player I am always amazed at the bass lines He gets with no bassist at all. It’s like music magic. They were crazy good!
Been waiting almost 4 years to see these guys. The pandemic was good for finding gems like them! Please come back to Brooklyn soon. Couldn't make that Sunday night gig a couple months ago. Bk bowl or Nublu in the city would be great.
Besides being masterful musicians, DLO3 is well-worth watching perform just for Jimmy's faces. They crack me up! And it's even cuter when he and Delvon were having that stare-down that Jimmy broke first, grinning like a doofus. What absolute characters! Easily my favorite contemporary group and I love recordings like this because it's the same music I love, but with a little different flavor and a new little story/intro.

You can really tell Jimmy is feeling every note and portraying it to the guitar, like he's making it sing what he is thinking.
