Center of gravity means a lot. I watched a Ford Torus blow thru a stop light right in front of me (Cell Phone Interuptus) and flip a Grand Cherokee who was making a legal left. Thank god no one was hurt, neither where Classic GM’s! When driving, always hold the cell phone at the 12 O’clock position, because it blocks that annoying bright stop light from your eyes!
Do You have the measurements handy ? I am doing the exact thing. I have the chassis siting on top of the new cross members from a 1976 c10. Trying to be as precise as possible. Thanks.
I think these blazer's look better 2wd and lowered, but I also don't like wheels over 15 in diameter, and don't wish to hear back about, judge in your head's, but it's hard not to puke when I see big rims🤢

Do any of the front bolt holes line up? I have read that they do, but you need to open em up to 1/2" Going to do this soon.
Yes you can line up four of the holes. I bolted those in, checked wheelbase measurements, marked the holes and then drilled them out.

They only made 2WDs 70 71 and 72 70 they only made 982 2WD Blazers-- I’d bet that there are more now than in the early 70s 😂🙌

Was the 2wd crossmember and suspension items from a C10 truck donor?
Yes it was from a 2wd C10. A variety of years will work (squarebody too).

I like both styles… heck I even like lifted…. Just not my thing personally.
