- The last couple of weeks we’ve been doing premarital counseling with Mama B and Mr. Bates. We’ve been learning a lot and wanted to share some of it with you guys, but also ask a few fun questions to learn more about their early married life 😉

Y’all are so wise to get advice from your parents. It’s so very obvious they are so love with each other after 35 years. First and foremost is the fact that God has guided them on decisions that had to be made. I wish you both a life of love, devotion and happiness.

Great advice! I always celebrated Christmas on another day other then the actual day...when my single sons worked as correction officers and they offered to work for other officers who had kids, I felt that was the best gift they could of given me and we've done that ever since.
Don’t let there ever be anything you’re not willing to talk to each other about .. have faith in each other not fear ❤️. Good luck y’all seem like a great couple !

My husband and I binged watched all the seasons "Bringing up Bates", in only about 2 almost 3 weeks recently. We love how they raised all you kids and how close your family is. You have such a beautiful family and we love your sense of humor. You all have so much fun together. Your mom & dad are wise and such real down to earth people. Trace ya sure turned out to be a real handsome young man. So happy you found someone to share your life with. We love all of your family. We live in Canada and have been married 39 years.

I have to say that "Bringing Up Bates" has been my best program of all time! I never grew up in a Godly family, so being able to watch one is more precious than gold to me! I wish the Bates program would continue in some form!
