Not sure it would have made the difference though after Durthu's swing and a miss, so entertained though. Keep the new Sylvaneth content coming!! Thanks again!!

If that new green archer can get a reroll hit somehow to fish for a d3 mortal , it would be a super nightmare consider that it seem they can deepstrike so you can t hide from them.
Awesome battle rep! love the new sylvaneth models and the way they play. One thing I saw and pls correct me if I'm wrong, but around min 29-32 you teleported the hunters and then moved durthu and the vine lady. but then re positioned the hunters to where durthu would of been so they could be within 8' of the endless spell. But technically they wouldn't of been able to teleport there if durtho was there, and durtho wouldnt of been able to move before they teleported because they were on the way so idk...

Men you had to charge that manticore to the back the branch wraith hero to create space and close off space to the archers to fly away

yes yes join us the Table Top faction ADD club. it gets a bit expensive and our pile of "potential" are large and we often play with barely primed minis. However we have lots of fun with many armies.
Btw did you consider any tree overgrown? Overgrown as in block los was aos2 thing that doesn't exist in aos3 yet. In new book will be way to turn any terrain piece to overgrown but until that no overgrown terrain

Good game despite the mistakes the Chaos player made.
You don't spend the command point and summon in the the Hero phase for the Ravagers, you do it at the end of Movement.
Also, a Hero can only be the "General" once in a game so it does not go back and forth.
It would have been smart for the S2D player to do Heroic Willpower instead of Heroic Leadership as he chose to go second.
Would still love to see more S2D, lots of fun.
In addition to this, chaos warriors can't get themselves to a 2+ save. Their base is 4, if there are more than 10 it goes to 3, per the core rules they become stacked on 3 and cannot increase it any further. Initially I wondered what in the world the logic was behind the gigantic warrior block, but if I was able to get them to a 2+ save I'd certainly be tempted to field it myself.
@@SwineofWarCan go above 3 for purposes of ignoring rend but once the dice are rolled can't be better than 3+

This is wrong. You can have them swap general as many times as you want, however you can only use the summon command ability once per battle per hero.

Always confuses me if you can stack buffs, is it possible to get more than one buff to your save/hit/attacks?
You can get more than one buff to hit, wound and save. So in theorie you can stack up to a +3 to hit buff on a unit. But in the End it is capped at a +1 buff. So this would only be usefull if also any debuffs to hit apply to this unit.
@@zohungaartuz10 I thought there was some situation where you couldn’t stack buff like that.
@@TruthBlackheart that s because there are many type of "buff" , spell such as mystic shield , prayer , ability unless state in th description doesn t have an upper limit that can be put in a single unit and they usually last till next hero phase , on the other hand a unit cannot issue/receive more than 1 command ability per phase BUT if that command were to last till next hero phase then you can all out atk/def in their respective phase anyway. Thus stacking buff on a single unit.

The flying shooters unleash hell and retreat is easy to negate. Position one(1) model within 3", string rest behind out of 3". Unleash hell kills model, remove model within 3" and no retreat move. Then pile in 3" and kill the tree birds. The rule is only effective vs 1 model units.
So at 49:00 charge 1 chaos warrior. If unleash hell does more than 1 damage no retreat. Then chaos lord charges in. Dead unit. Easy.
Really painful to watch chaos ignore this basic tactic.
I like your idea, but I have a question. How could you pile in 3", if all your models our outside of 3" to prevent the retreat? Don't you have to be within 3" to be considered in battle to make a pile in?
@@infiernosaxx2548 be within 3" or have done charge. That's the requirement to activate and thus pile in and make attacks. The or have charged is key

He could have charged the kurnoth first then you had to choose between the bow fairy's unleash hell or the kurnoth unleash hell. Scary might have made the mistake to call unleash hell on the kurnoth and would not be alowed for the fairies, thats the only way to catch them in mellee I gues.
It's just nice to see a StD army without Archaon 😂

Ah I see there is a Chaos Lord on Manticore, man that thing is a murder machine when you run the two weapons set up..
EDIT: I was sitting watching wondering why you weren't ignoring battleshock and getting a 6+ ward wholly within 12" of your heroes with the Chaos army... and then I remembered that my friend who plays Slaves to Darkness uses Ravagers and gives everything the Mark of Undecided.

Once per game yes , but the branch wraith has a spell to summon them

I upvotes for Skari. But that’s only because he asked me to do otherwise. 😑
The unleash hell rule where they shoot in combat is broken but most AOS rules are. They really need to employ some better rule makers. I think the unleash hell rule should be a thing that allows you to shoot in combat or what ever it is that allows you to destroy appointments on a charge but if you use it, You sacrifice your Firing in the next turn as you could wipe a unit on the charge in the opposite direction, turn around and shoot another volley at something the opposite side with no penalty for unit positioning in the blink of an eye. Just flat out stupid.
Ravager really needs some improvement though, can't see much of Ravager except the summoning 10 marauders
The summoning is pretty good, you can get over 500 points of free units and pop up behind people. And slaves to darkness stuff is expensive in points so getting extra points is good. It's not the most meta subfaction, that would be Despoilers since khorne dameon prince is the best thing in the book (I'm treating anything with archaon as it's own army)
@@teagancombest6049 being positive is good but I still think the Ravager is for narrative play only. For comparison, subfaction Host Arcanum in Tzeentch summons free 6 Screamers in turn one, which worth 200pts, and you can use it immediately, Tzeentch also summon blue horrors each turn, even in worst case that the player can only afford 10 blue summoning in 2 turn, is still considering better than 10 marauder at the edge of the battle field. That doesn't even count the loss of 1 CP you have to use each turn to summon them, and each hero can only use it once a game, meaning you have to keep your other hero alive to keep up with summoning. And, summon 10 marauder from the edge of the map in turn 5? This counts as nothing, so 500pts of summoning is irrelevant.
Let's hope for the new book this winter!
@@HaiBui-kr3xu 10 marauders can take an objective from a weakened unit that got sent there just to grab a few points, and they will guarantee their charge. It even happened in this game. 10 marauders can hit hard on the charge enough to wipe a small hero or a chaff unit and push a few more vp through.
also: sylvaneth arnt elves, so "sneaky elf spirit things" arnt a thing. they by lore actually hate the wood elves and tend to kill them on sight.

They arnt elves. Or spirits of elves. They are all sylvaneth and they are all pissed the wood elves abandoned them

Skari just constantly taunting opponents while executing annoying rules - extremely grating. Relax, dude, you're good at the game, but constantly laughing in their faces makes me root for the other guy every time. That said, it does provide a good villain on the channel for me :)
