Been a good while since i checked the channel. You've come a long way for sure and yeah with you showing it off at the end there, those little bits of colour are just catching the light every now and then and really gives it an extra dimension.
Hey, I can save you a LOT of time on the spot putty application. Remember the 3 ring binders, and there were "Hole reinforcement" stickers for the pages? Just peel and stick one over the spot, then apply putty and scrape it level (Toothpick, stick, etc.). When you remove the adhesive "Hole", you'll be left with something that requires very little sanding. One more thing: If the "holes" are too sticky, just stick it on your shirt a couple of times and it will be easier to remove in the end. I hope that helps!
@@createscifi I'm glad you find it useful! The same can be done with linear cuts. Put masking tape on both sides of the cut, smooth it out, then pull off the tape. It makes things SO much cleaner!
Great video Anthony. Really liked the gun. What I would like to do is dismantle the gun and take molds of the sides and the scope and then cast more in resin. They would make great walls for sci fi wargame terrain. All the best.
I do like this, although I would have added some plastic card below the trigger to form a trigger guard. The finish is so beaten up and weathered- I love it.
cool.. yeah i'm working on 2 gun currently. a mash up and my version of the law giver on judge dredd, and working on my own Ghostbusters neutrino wand. fun stuff that you do thanks.
I got this toy water gun pistol that I've thought about turning into a Warhammer 40k themed prop pistol, maybe a Grot slugga would be cool since there doesn't seem to be alot of 40k Ork gun prop making videos out there
A thought for the grip. Put some grime colored paint on your glove wipe most of it off the glove, then grab the grip. And when will we see an update on Mando and the Jedi? "Tomorrow is promised to neither of us."
Love your builds. And in case others are looking to make their own films, "Grand Theft Auto V" is a relatively cheap point of entry with its built in movie generator and editor. I've only done machinimas so I've never tried to integrate human actors, but if you looking to create establishing shots, stock-ish footage or generating a car chase, it might work for you. A greater Los Angeles area analogue is integrated into the base game and a huge library of mods are available, including the new "Liberty City" mod which is an amazing New York City analogue.
Oh, and as long as you're not trying to make money off it or using their assets for inappropriate/illegal content, RockStar/TakeTwo is pretty hands off as far as user generated content.
So what about using the superglue and PVA trick along with some greebles to make a "techno-organic" blaster? Maybe also use the Uhu and blood FX paint t add some strings of gore to it. As for burn flesh(for bio-guns) I recent saw channel called 'resourceful mini's' paint up some very gross and fairly quick burnt flesh on a video called "How To Paint Rust & Burnt Flesh/Trench Crusade Heretic Legion", I could easily see doing that over some of the PVA/superglue texture near the business end of the blaster. As far as your use of yellow purple and green metallic paint goes I've seen some miniature painters get some amazing muzzle burn with some transparent yellow red and blue colors over a dark silver with a final dry-brush of mat black or dark grey, a lot of them use airbrushes but at the size your working with you should be able to get really good results with the sort of cheap harbor freight airbrush that a lot of them will use for priming miniatures with.
Love the added colors, it makes it more interesting ❤

Awesome paintjob! Love how it turned out. Have to try these colors myself one day

Thanks for the tip! That sounds like a clever way to make the spot putty application easier. I’ll definitely give it a try!

Really creative! Awesome job my man!🤘🏻
Always fun keeping an eye on this channel. Just dropping a comment to try and help the algorithm a smidge, this channel deserves more exposure.

You could also create a subreddit for people to post their kitbashes
Has the wildfires in LA affected you? I’m a big fan of your work
