You bet

Really enjoyed it Steve. You and I fish the same way. God Bless and keep it up.
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome job. Old fisherman. Love the slime trick for scent...plus the footage on livescope. Besafe.❤.
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great day on the water Mr. Steve. I used your technique for deep water shellcrackers a few days ago and caught 15 around a pound each. I thank you for the info and the videos you do for us. Stay safe in the HEAT out there sir.
That is awesome!
Steve, Spent one week at Lake of the Ozarks and used your technique with a double minnow on a 1/32 oz plain jib head. Found crappie in deep water on structure. We caught fish every day using that technique of throwing on them about 30 feet out and bringing the jigs across the top of the structure. Livescope has changed fishing forever. Loving Life. Thanks for all the videos and tips...
Glad to help.
Steve thanks for another great video and also for the LS views with you baits on the fish. I know it's hard to fish and film but thanks for your effort.
You bet
That fish finder thing even shows your bait in front of the fish 🎣🤯knew about them but I didn’t know they do that 😮
Thanks for watching.
Awesome video
Thanks my friend.
That was a nice video Steve
Thanks my friend.
Holy my you got some good ens today
Nice ones.
When you do fish with minnows have you ever dyed your minnows with like the Pautzke fire dye in Chartreuse or pink color ?
Haven't tried that yet.
Nice crappies
Thanks for watching my friend.
Hey Steve!! Hope your doing well! Catching them crappy I see an their monsters buddy! I think it’s bout time you get you a new net brother. I don’t know how many more times the one you got is going to take a fixing! Lol. Love your videos keep them coming!’
Working on it!
Oh yeah got the ride out
Thanks for being in the boat my friend.
I see it a garmin 🥰🥰🥰
That it is.
Very nice crappies get you a rubber net
I got a rubber net and it's to heavy, I know what I like.
@@theoldfisherman2040 ok
Steve I would like to know what do you do with all the fish you throw in the live well or the tub.I fish Crappie and my freezer is full of them.I have not kept a fish since first of the year.I was just wondering. Thanks
I furnish my friends with fish. I have said that many times before.
@@theoldfisherman2040
Thanks Steve
Hey Steve. Another great day of learning from you.
Here's a question I haven't seen put to you yet however... Just about all the Slab Chasers on Murray I know use LiveScope. Some mount it on the Trolling Motor, and some, like me, still use a pole mount. Obviously there's pro 'n cons for both, and as you said boat control is the key, but can we get your take on that subject?
Thanks our friend 🙏
I prefer my transducer on my trolling motor. If you use a foot control for your trolling motor and use spot lock a lot you might like it on a separate pole mount.
@@theoldfisherman2040 that's what I found out about Spot Lock, lol I agree.. I think I'll at least try it out and see if I'm less busy! Thank you sir.....
Steve I did not think you would go to using livescope. I guess all the real fisherman have died out.
Get A life, I think I have proved I am a real fisherman.
Just because you find them don't mean you can make them bite!!!
Jealousy!!!!
I rarely catch them off hair jigs myself. I have plenty of them too. Old fisherman catching slabs and conversating with pretty women. Can't beat that. 45 minutes later, she long winded I see, lol. Bobby Garland's are good baits.
That is true, thanks for watching.
You should do a video on hair jigs
They won't bite it good enough for me.
Hey Bro Steve , next time I’ll pray she’s single and loves to fish 😂😂
That would be a good prayer, my friend
The old fisherman...breaking out and gettin the dust off his player card ! 👍✌
😊
Thanks for watching.
Nice job do you sell fish
No
Thanks, Steve
Thank you for watching.
Hey Steve…. Have you noticed the mussel die off on Murray for the last week or so?
Yeah, I mentioned it in the video
Gettin hot... bubbles form in the shell and ... Floaters! ... grab em and put the meat on for a good catfish / shellcracker bite.
Is that a Shimano reel you using
Pflueger president reel 25 series
@@theoldfisherman2040 okay thank you I have 2 of them
What time of the day do you normally fish?
8am to 12 noon
What kind of rod are you using
6'9" ST.CROIX and a Pflueger President 25 with10 ball bearings
@@theoldfisherman2040 I have a pflueger president 25. I just like try out different fishing rods
How do you do it.....I can not get a crappie to bite at Lake Murray
....I see it!
Many years of experience.
How deep are you fishing.
High dollar boat and a 2 dollar net!
That’s better than having a high dollar net and a two dollar boat
@@theoldfisherman2040😂😂😂😂 tell him Steve!
Knows it has a hole in it and still complains about it having a hole in it. 🤷♂️
That’s the way the old Fisherman is my friend
@@theoldfisherman2040 You raise a valid point!
What brand and lenght of rod are you using?
6 foot 9” St. Croix panfish
IT AIN'T EVERYDAY THAT A WOMAN PADDLES HALFWAY ACROSS A LAKE JUST TO TALK TO YOU STEVE.
I know, it's a shame she's married.
Where are you fishing at.Those are gaints
I fish where the slabs live.
Did she say she had husband? Sounded like you two were able to communicate easy
Yes
That has to be a 3 Lber
Good old big one for sure.
Live scope takes the sport out of fishing. No challenge at all.
You are a complete idiot, it does not make them bite. You must not have one.
So you obviously catch fish to feed the neighbors lol. I wonder why ya dont target brim? They eat better then crappie. Is it just cuz they’re smaller?
Not that easy to catch sense they killed all the hydrilla out the lake.
