Me too, i got tired of waiting for a Minzy Solo that I didnt care for any YG group except for Big Bang but this, Minzy spreading her wings, cured me! When I saw her on Running Man back the and killing variety I knew she has more to give!

People are saying how rude the vocal trainer was but I don't find him rude I just find him serious and he stated he didn't like their attitudes about it when it was supposed to be serious so he can actually evaluate them. Plus, he's taught so many SM artists for all those years I'm pretty sure he's a whole other person with them because it's his first time seeing them and getting to know them but with SM artists he's probably strict but yet probably nicer and obviously he still has the job as the vocal trainer so what he's doing is obviously working out and will work out for them. And yewon is too adorable for me, I'm rooting for her because she's actually a great singer and a decent dancer it's just her confidence though
Vocal trainers in the Philippines are way more strict. They are lucky they have a kind trainer.

I feel so moved with Yewon. I hope she finds her lost voice. You know, no one can defeat your thoughts but yourself. I pray she can overcome her fears and try more. It was a big step to join this show and a bigger step that she allowed to sing that song again. As she said, she needed a good teacher to make her sing again... That willingness is all that is needed. Watching Sisters Slam Dunk makes me feel so touched.

As expected, Minzy wasn't let nervous get on her way. YG held a test each month so their artists can handle nervousness very well. And she has that groove ^^ So proud of her.
And there is nothing scarier than that monthly evaluation in front of that snake we all know who lol Even Blackpink, Ikon and Winner hated that monthly assessment

Seeing yewon in the past singing opera beautifully to what she has become now has literally hurt my souls and brought me to tears. When he asked her to sing opera you could see the fear in her face. I know the feeling it's a terrible feeling. When I lost the ability and ease to slip into head voice let alone simple high notes I thought I was done for. So I know the feeling of wanting to sing again and wanting to find someone who can make you sing again. Seriously bless her.

Minzy was the baby of her group once. A group with crazy older sisters. Of course she learnt how to master her nerves. The confidence I believe came with her experience and adulthood. I love how they all support each other.👏👏

I was really sad and disappointed when Minzy's departure from 2ne1 was announced but I can't really blame her since most, if not all, blackjacks would've noticed that YG didn't let her shine more. Seriously, she's super talented. Even though I still want a 4-membered 2ne1, i'm still in denial of their disbandment hahaha, i'm really happy for Minzy since finally she can get the recognition of her own talent.
this show why 2ne1 disbanded because they can't move forward with 3 members without minzy cuz shes an important member!! She has the best stable vocal and she's the best dancer!!

I like CL's singing (definitely more than her rapping, which is what I think is overrated) and she was my 2nd favorite member of 2NE1 after Minzy, but she had more lines than anyone.
She also was the only one who got to write songs, although from what I've read Minzy wrote some. I don't know why she didn't get support, but wanting to put all the light on CL is definitely a possibility.

This is YoungK. sorry am a JYP stan but must admit that JYP vocal training isn't that up to par . those names u mentioned earlier all got vocal classes from kpop star (Jimin, Bernard Park) or other training classes. but yeah at least their artists' vocal aren't that bad too but not up to SM's par. that's what I can say .

I am exactly like Yewon.. a trained singer with a self conscious attitude towards my singing that holds me back alot. I can sing to no end by myself or in front of my vocal instructor but when i have to do a recital my confidence shatters. I too hope someone can motivate me to break this habit the way she does. She is an inspiration facing this issue head on like this, because i know its a hard thing to do. I respect her even more now.

it become serious maybe because the trainers are famous and expert, they dont want to ruin their reputation
teh hijau or maybe because they're serious about assessing them but they kept trying to treat it as a joke. It's important for everyone to complete their songs so you can make a proper assessment on what they need to work on and it gets annoying when the other members just keep cutting in with their own personal comments. I know this is a variety show but had it been some proper vocal class he probably would've already told the ones who keep interrupting to shut up or even leave the class

YG also didnt open to colab w other company. I wonder what will happen to his trainee esp katie kim jang hanna n how long blackpink will stay in the industry if YG kept make teddy do all things. :( I always knew Minzy was a super amazing vocalist in 2NE1. I knew she wasn’t given as many opportunities to shine and it was always a shame. I always admired her because with any performance, her voice is so stable and on key no matter what. Even with all the dancing and moving, it never shook her vocals.
She is one of the best vocalists of that generation. Her dancing is more noticeable as she is also the best dancer of second generation of Kpop and even up to this date.

Well now I know why SM vocalists have really good & healthy vocal skill, as well as confidence. Their vocal trainer and vocal dept. overall is not only skilled buy definitely look like they know what they're doing.
