My company uses Nvidia Quadro cards in HP ZBook 17. The things are beasts. They render 3d scans of buildings on them. You can run walk through of building models, run vr off them, it's nuts. The things are much bigger than the computers they use in this, but also have even bigger battery, and other specs are just massive.

The worst thing that has happened to laptops in recent years was the removal of physical touchpad keys. Having just one button to function as just either LMB or RMB is a travesty to workflow and usability. There are many uses of a middle mouse button. I likely use it more than I use the right mouse button. And why prevent people from using LMB and RMB at the same time? What sort of alien works as a touchpad designer, that he has no idea how humans use a laptop?

I would guess your bloom and post processing wasn't working because you had the Denoised main pass selected in the viewport, unlike the normal pass the PP doesn't apply until all the samples have been rendered and the Denoised applied
Hey, I have an idea for a video.. probably a good Wren video. Why is human/CG contact so difficult? I'm watching Okja and the pig looks perfect, but where her hand is touching looks bad. Same with game of thrones, Drogon looked immaculate and real, but when Jon touches it, it looks fake. Why? I kinda get it, but what makes it specifically so difficult to do human contact with CG elements and what could be done to make it look better. For instance in Okja, there are a few ultra tight shots of people touching Okja, like a close up intimate shot of the girl whispering in his ear, or a guy running his hand on his hide and I can't help but wonder; Why not just make a nice practical piece for those close ups? Make a foam latex ear, or a small section of hide for the ultra close ups of contact.. It just seems like even with the best technology we still get the Iron Man floating head and similar problems with that type of interaction. Anyways, I hope you guys are all well!
quick tips: you can move your camera in Cinema4D by holding 1, 2 or 3 while dragging the cursor. binding the middle mouse button for a track pad is great idea though.
