00:00:00 - Episode 10: On the outskirts of a rural Nevada town, Scott and Zuzana live behind 10-foot chain fences; not to protect themselves from intruders, but to protect intruders from their surprising pets. Dave and his dog Alice have an incredible bond, but Alice is no ordinary dog; she’s a dingo, Australia’s largest apex predator. Join us in Ken Foose’s Exotic Pets Store, Las Vegas, where you can find everything from ferrets and hedgehogs, through to snakes, giant spiders, scorpions and venomous lizards.
01:28:52 - Episode 11: Who knew that one incident in small town Zanesville Ohio, would lead an unpredicted legal change in surrounding states in the US. One man’s drastic action to set loose his vast collection of exotic animals opened up a chaotic animal massacre that made global headlines over night. After exploring the tragedy of Zanesville, this episode of Predator Pets travels to Las Vegas to get up close and personal with the Monkey Whisperer Lisa Whitaker and her long time capuchin companion Mugwhy. We then adventure on to the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park to visit Joe, the exotic animal conservationist and country musician. This episode takes you on a rollercoaster ride showcasing very different exotic animal owners.
00:00:00 - Episode 12: This week’s Predator Pets deals with some of the most ferocious predators on the planet. Wolves may be the ancestors of our most beloved house pet, the dog, but they’re far from being an animal you can cuddle up with on the couch. The circus is now a controversial environment for exotic animals, but Australia’s longest running family circus know that the Lion Tamer is still guaranteed to draw gasps from the crowd. In the 1980s, Randy Miller was known as an animal stuntman with a unique talent and a unique connection to some very special animals. Since 2008 he’s better known as the owner of Rocky, the 400-pound bear who killed his cousin during a photoshoot.
Predator Pets - Alligators, snakes, wolves, bears, and more, these deadly pets offer an adrenaline-pumping experience you just don’t get with a poodle. Have some pet owners crossed a line by keeping these wild animals in their homes? Predators Pets investigates extreme pets and the danger-factor that their owners see as a positive rather than a problem.

I'm not questioning the falconer. I'm confused. He says his birds are free to return or not. So far so good... BUT don't they have some kind of lead, sometimes with bells, attached to one leg? Wouldn't that adversely impact their ability to survive on the own. Not saying a bird would take this into account, just saying if they left, they wouldn't survive...

Sorry but not sorry, I worked at the Wildlife Waystation and this woman was as good to the animals as she was horrible to her employees! Horrible and hateful to us! I can't say a good thing about her... I walked away being owed 3 months of salary, just disgusting! Many times I tried to approach her and the only thing I got was hate I lost my car and my apartment because of her

I believe all wild animals should be kept in the wild and get the correct help in situ . The people that are living in the area should be educated to support that help.

@@jojosmumdorothy2829What are you going to do if an injured bird can't fly? Leave it in the wild till its wing heals? Not gonna work ...

As long as its rescued and they have ABSOLUTELY nowhere to go, then i think its ok if people keep them AS LONG AS they have proper SPACE and make sure they have everything they need. OTHERWISE NO. Too many abuse sad cases whether wild or domestic.

What I do like is the fact that the owners of the sanctuaries realize that it is still captivity, unnatural, and hope one day it becomes unnecessary. And I agree, probably not in our lifetimes. Teach our children respect for animals, not ownership of them.

I can’t believe how out dated the information is on Ferrets in the documentary. I have been selling Ferrets in Japan for over 30 years. They are bred to be pets in America, not to catch rabbits. I have their scent glands removed, and they are neutered before being sold as a pet. That solves the odor problem and the issues of them escaping, breeding in the wild and harming the native wildlife. Our ferrets eat a dry high protein Keeble made just for them. If one of our Ferrets got loose it would find the nearest person for help/food as soon as it got hungry. We never feed them raw meat, and they are puppy dog tame. Not one bad incident in Japan in the past 30 plus years of sell thousands of Ferrets. I don’t know where this program got their information. They didn’t try very hard to find out how things are in current times. They are still illegal in some backward states that don’t understand the science.

Those scent glands in Ferrets are there to keep their fur in condition. Do you stick a cork up your arse to stop your odor ?.
