It really does make me sad that more people don't watch your content. You and Mia put so much love and care into what you do. More so then most other Power Ranger channels I've seen out there. On a brighter note, that can't have been to comfortable for Mia with your feet driving into her hips like that! LOL! Beetleborgs content would certainly take me back to my childhood. The version of the show i watched was those three young kids with the powers right? But the box you showed had more then three so it must be a different version you want to do a video on right? I love beetleborgs ! That show doesn’t get enough love ! I preferred it to Mystic knights, master rider or VR troopers. Loved the introduction of Josh as the White beetleborg.
I think that the retro stuff is great. The time force video was put together really well. I know that it is easy to get discouraged especially with the youtube algorithm. However, I think that things can get better. You're right that there are things that only you and Mia are doing and that is what I personally enjoy about all the channels that you have. I am still working, somewhat from home and somewhat in the field so when I see your content after a long day or definitely makes me feel happy and also makes me say "I think I need that!" As you would say Bruno. Keep up the great work and do your best to stay positive. #teambrumia
Flying Mia! You's and your sillyness's. I'd watch me some BeetleBorgs. I tried to give that show a watch a couple years ago, and felt that i had a bit of a hard time getting into it because it was aimed towards an even younger audience than even Power Rangers is. BUT, I know that if I were to have known about the show as a kid, I would've probably loved it. Armor suits, Comic books.. I still love that stuff. Ill have to give it another try. Either way, I'm still interested and would watch the videos on them! Speaking of armored suits, I started the Ultraman Netflix series last night, and I'm curious to see where that show goes. I enjoyed the first two episodes so far. Have you's given it a watch yet? I also want to try and get the TokuShoutSu show app at some point. A Mammoth video could be so awesome, given I still respect whatever content you decide to put out! While yes other Power Ranger/Sentai reviewers also do current stuff, you have so many more positive things to say about the toys. I also say I don't mind whatever content you do put out because of the very production value that takes videos a while to put out.
It really is a shame people arent watching. Sometimes our fandom asks for things, and when it's time to give it they dont bite. Kinda like everyone wants a particular item and then once it's out no one buys it. I love your videos mostly for your guys personality and views. I dont need articulation and other things about each figure. If I wanna know that I can honestly just look at the toy itself. But the retro videos are so much fun. Toys were so much fun back in the day. More imagination. Even with beast morphers. It's a few figures, role play and megazords. No bikes or bases or anything extra really. So seeing for example beetleborgs having gimmicks or quality chrome is just fun. Love the videos, hope you dont get to discourage. Final note I'll take a fine dessert like your videos over potato chip videos. Which are fine, but dont get me excited like seeing a divided as one or MMPRtoys video in my subscription box.

No sure if anyone remembers Eric saying "My Q-Rex would eat his Dragon Zord for lunch." In the forever red episode. I have been drying to see that battle forever. That's going to take longer to put together. We rely on viewers seeing the less fancy videos too, that's how we fund the channel and the time that goes into constantly turning out content. The Time Force cycles were an easy request, with bonus toy hunting footage from the year 2001. That's not really something you see every day.
California was always very pretty after the rain. Big fluffy clouds, softer sunlight, blue sky... everything seemed so much cleaner after it rained (which of course almost never happened after March)
Yeah.. I did notice that the views were pretty low on it by the time I got to it the next day. I don't know what else to say other than that I loved it, I watched it 3 times to really take in the sights and sounds of 2001. Would love to see a beetleborgs review, I think it’ll be fun to see you mess review the beetle binder and battle base. Also would love to see if you have the astral borg stuff from b-fighter, mainly the changer.
I think the real issue with viewership is this: 1. you are a perfectionist that has an attention for detail which in turn causes videos to take a long time to come out. Yes, it means the videos that do come out are far better, but TH-cam doesn't like long breaks between videos. Maybe you could release more shorter videos that are straight up reviews and then weave in some more dynamic videos. This way you can build up viewership and a routine with your audience while still doing some of the stuff you guys are good at. 2. Power Rangers is limiting your audience. Posting one or two non-power rangers videos is not a great way to judge the success of that type of content. Plus, when you finally do a non-power rangers video it is usually well after the stuff has been released. Case in point, your TMNT video. Those 18 inch figures have been out for EVER. Granted, they look amazing and I loved the video, especially with the animation, but most people who want to see a video on those figures have already seen so many of them. NECA has released 7inch versions of them that people love, and even those are old news now. You can't let one TMNT video about figures released years ago be a judge of what non-power rangers content people want. Power Rangers and stop motion are your passion, and that is great. However, PR is too niche even within the fan base as so many people prefer one season over another. Stop motion takes far too long to be successful on TH-cam. I have been a fan of yours for awhile. You are literally the ONLY person I support on Patreon. That being said, I genuinely believe you need to re-brand the channel and include more "main stream" type content more frequently.
All good points here, but they all have explanations. Maybe Mia and I will talk about some of these things tonight. (The TMNT thing is totally valid, we did that intro animation years ago and just never finished the video, came back to it, and it didn't do too badly, as far as a non-PR thing goes on our channel). A lot of this has been a major source of frustration since 2017, and part of why we met with that advisor for half of 2018 (who told us to just ditch Power Rangers entirely). It wasn't always this way. Toy videos have been decimated by little-kid channels, who eventually resulted in COPPA. Not just Power Rangers. Trying to keep this short, will come back to this later.
@@DividedAsOne I think it would be great for you guys to post a video discussing these issues. I know you have been shying away from talk like this because of the current situation, but just because other people have problems doesn't mean yours don't exist anymore.
Been telling him this for a while. Really really loved the Time Cycle videos, and didn't have a high production value. It was funny, charming, a great review and probably didn't take forever with the special effects. Sometimes less is more.

BeetleBorgs for win I actually went back and starting to watching it and man I forgotten how many episodes it took to get to shadow Borg, but it's worth it. I wish boom studio would a comic on them
It's weird how people aren't really viewing the videos on some of the older stuff, especially around the 2000's. Like, 2000's nostalgia has been kicking in the past few years, for good and for bad, did Power Rangers just miss that wave somehow? Even though I wasn't allowed to watch it back then, I always saw the commercials on Jetix, so I have memories of Dino Thunder through Jungle Fury, even if I didn't watch them at the time. Guess it's like how people tend to ignore Bionicle's awesome lore because of "teh memes." We remembered them, just not the important parts.

As I've learned from doing this in the past, the thing that gets 99% of the vote... nobody ends up watching. 😛 It's a lesson I can't learn. Every time I see a demand for something, I try to make it happen, only to see a severe lack of interest once the video's posted. If you look at the comments on this video, you'd think a Beetleborgs video would do very well.... I'm gonna try! But, we'll see....
Re: Low effort content that everyone else is doing It's true, others are doing basic reviews but not everyone wants to watch those guys or seek out the reviews. Optibotimus does some fairly professional TF reviews but I just don't like the guy so I go with Peaugh and I don't know have to hunt down a specific review because I know he'll review it eventually. I don't give a shit what Dosmrider or TokuChris has to say about the Kirameiger stuff because I don't know them and don't care about their opinions but I do know and like you guys so I'd rather get the "low effort" review from you. I hope I'm not coming off as antagonistic or anything I'm just trying to give valid feedback since a lot of people just wanna type "no we love everything" which I don't think is very helpful.

I've actually been using Morph-X to power the time machine but now I'm running low. :-/ I don't know what it originally ran on. That's the only thing I've ever used since it's been in my possession. They don't make 'em anymore and I have no idea who services them. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

I think the real issue with viewership is this:
1. you are a perfectionist that has an attention for detail which in turn causes videos to take a long time to come out. Yes, it means the videos that do come out are far better, but TH-cam doesn't like long breaks between videos. Maybe you could release more shorter videos that are straight up reviews and then weave in some more dynamic videos. This way you can build up viewership and a routine with your audience while still doing some of the stuff you guys are good at.
2. Power Rangers is limiting your audience. Posting one or two non-power rangers videos is not a great way to judge the success of that type of content. Plus, when you finally do a non-power rangers video it is usually well after the stuff has been released. Case in point, your TMNT video. Those 18 inch figures have been out for EVER. Granted, they look amazing and I loved the video, especially with the animation, but most people who want to see a video on those figures have already seen so many of them. NECA has released 7inch versions of them that people love, and even those are old news now. You can't let one TMNT video about figures released years ago be a judge of what non-power rangers content people want.
Power Rangers and stop motion are your passion, and that is great. However, PR is too niche even within the fan base as so many people prefer one season over another. Stop motion takes far too long to be successful on TH-cam. I have been a fan of yours for awhile. You are literally the ONLY person I support on Patreon. That being said, I genuinely believe you need to re-brand the channel and include more "main stream" type content more frequently.
All good points here, but they all have explanations. Maybe Mia and I will talk about some of these things tonight. (The TMNT thing is totally valid, we did that intro animation years ago and just never finished the video, came back to it, and it didn't do too badly, as far as a non-PR thing goes on our channel). A lot of this has been a major source of frustration since 2017, and part of why we met with that advisor for half of 2018 (who told us to just ditch Power Rangers entirely). It wasn't always this way. Toy videos have been decimated by little-kid channels, who eventually resulted in COPPA. Not just Power Rangers. Trying to keep this short, will come back to this later.
@@DividedAsOne I think it would be great for you guys to post a video discussing these issues. I know you have been shying away from talk like this because of the current situation, but just because other people have problems doesn't mean yours don't exist anymore.
Been telling him this for a while. Really really loved the Time Cycle videos, and didn't have a high production value. It was funny, charming, a great review and probably didn't take forever with the special effects.
Sometimes less is more.
@@MnemonicSyntax and even in that video Bruno still took extra time to paint a road.... the man is a perfectionist, and that is why I love his videos. Every detail counts. But TH-cam hates perfectionists.

But if you look around TH-cam, it goes to the lowest common denominator. Quick, fast and an easy buck. Such is life these days.

It's weird how people aren't really viewing the videos on some of the older stuff, especially around the 2000's. Like, 2000's nostalgia has been kicking in the past few years, for good and for bad, did Power Rangers just miss that wave somehow? Even though I wasn't allowed to watch it back then, I always saw the commercials on Jetix, so I have memories of Dino Thunder through Jungle Fury, even if I didn't watch them at the time. Guess it's like how people tend to ignore Bionicle's awesome lore because of "teh memes." We remembered them, just not the important parts.

As I've learned from doing this in the past, the thing that gets 99% of the vote... nobody ends up watching. 😛 It's a lesson I can't learn. Every time I see a demand for something, I try to make it happen, only to see a severe lack of interest once the video's posted. If you look at the comments on this video, you'd think a Beetleborgs video would do very well.... I'm gonna try! But, we'll see....
Re: Low effort content that everyone else is doing
It's true, others are doing basic reviews but not everyone wants to watch those guys or seek out the reviews. Optibotimus does some fairly professional TF reviews but I just don't like the guy so I go with Peaugh and I don't know have to hunt down a specific review because I know he'll review it eventually.
I don't give a shit what Dosmrider or TokuChris has to say about the Kirameiger stuff because I don't know them and don't care about their opinions but I do know and like you guys so I'd rather get the "low effort" review from you.
I hope I'm not coming off as antagonistic or anything I'm just trying to give valid feedback since a lot of people just wanna type "no we love everything" which I don't think is very helpful.
@Darius Jefferson you're taking this way too seriously lmao I just picked 2 members of the community to make a point. We want to see stuff by Bruno and Mia, it's why we watch their channel. Just because someone else reviews something doesn't mean MMPRtoys shouldn't because a lot of people would prefer to watch their version of the review.
and you clearly don't know what I mean by "low effort", I'm talking about what Bruno is talking about in the video. People want him to do "basic" "low effort" reviews, just talking about the figure in front of the camera with no editing or special effects...again you're taking this way too seriously.
Hy you guys, why should i go to any PR channel that does oh here is (insert random toy) paint is okay articulation and where done. Nope don´t want that, it is the fun and creative way of your content that brings me to both of your channels back every time you post somthing. Thanks for beeing the way that you are and not casual. Really enjoyed Time Force and if i had a Time machine i would go back and grab a Q-Rex and other stuff that i still want and did not got back in the day. Beetleborgs would be nice, also flying me was fun, so stay save till next time.
Hey Bruno, what model is your time machine? I think mine is on the fritz and want to know if its a common thing. Any maintenance tips?
I've actually been using Morph-X to power the time machine but now I'm running low. :-/ I don't know what it originally ran on. That's the only thing I've ever used since it's been in my possession. They don't make 'em anymore and I have no idea who services them. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
