As long as your window can go up and down, your window motor should be fine. Your window fitment can be adjusted by some loosening and repositioning. After removing the door panel, you’ll see two gold colored studs on the bottom right and left of the main cover. Loosening the nuts allows you to shift it left and right. Turning the studs adjusts the in and out position very slightly. With the door closed you can adjust the fitment while someone guides you from outside. After lots of test fittings you might have to do a relearn so the window drops slightly when the door is opened. Also, add some Loctite to the gold screws to keep it from coming out of place by vibration. You can find guides on forums to go more in-depth. Love the G35 content man, keep it up! There aren’t too many channels on TH-cam that appreciate this car. Don’t quit 🤟🏽
Yeah I had to replace a window motor on my old g so I had to learn how to adjust the window fitment haha. I’m just too lazy to go through it just to readjust the window haha So I’ll wait till the window motor gives out so I can do a 2for1 you know. I appreciate you though man, love these cars and love making content on it!
Pretty much agree with it. Doors #1, but I new about it and haven't crushed my leg yet. I carry a big water bottle in the back. Never bother with cup holder. A little bottle with fit in the door holder, but I don't like those small bottles. Oh well. Oil consumption not a problem with my 2004 V35DE with 107,000 on it. This thing doesn't burn oil, doesn't leak anything. I think it had an easy life before I got it. My biggest gripe about it, is road noise on freeways. But I guess that comes with the territory of low profile tires. Just put on four, Contenental Extreme Contacts, stock sizes on 19" stock wheels. The things I like about this thing is the handling, the sound, the braking, and the looks, and the price. Great bang for the bucks!
How do you like your continentals? Are they a quiet tire? I’m running hankook nobles and the best thing about them is that they’re so quiet it makes the ride very enjoyable
Joe Vazquez , the Continentals are fine. I’ve only driven in dry conditions. They are suppose to be very grippy, with poor mileage rating. Will see.. I need to take it out towards Palomar Mountain. The truth is, this type of car is pretty hard to break loose. I leave VDC on, and I’m not into abusing the equipment or creating unnecessary trips for repairs. Or getting tickets, lol. This one came with Hankook Ventus V12evos on it. A decent tire. I ran the rears pretty much bald and it still handled well. They’re a bit noisy. Compared to a Ford Fusion, very noisy.
Joe Vazquez trust I know cause I have looked 👀 because I have all tan interior 😭 but it’s in good condition so I guess I should be thankful lol. Still tho the black is fire 🔥
There's no such thing as a perfect car, just the best compromise...Use your your cup holders on the doors...Doors will crush your legs, it takes one time and you will learn this...You need to perform the window re-learn before more damage is done....Keep your RPMs down, and Rev up Motor will consume less oil...Go on TH-cam and find the list of typical problems of the G35, save your money for these repairs on older, high mileage ones...And lastly, tell your buddy with his Bring Money Withyou car, his Maintenance Bill will turn to the amount of a car payment in a short time...LOL
Owned mine for over a year. zero problems exept oil changes. Minor things like inaccurate gas gauge and door locks, oil consumption. But that doesn't bother me at all.
Bro your car may look stock (besides the headlights and coils) but like i feel like thats all it needs cause im loving that ride height and headlights 😩 but keep it up i got the same problems with mine😤

Hahaha I feel that! Let me know I’m very curious on continental tires, I’ve heard great stuff about them though!
