I adjusted up the handbrake on a 2012 Kia Optima yesterday, same setup as seen here, just take out the grommet on the brake disc and use a flat head screwdriver, to move the adjuster cog in until the hub won’t move and then let it back a little. Simple. Hope that helps

Is it as simple as spinning that thing he touched at the 2:20 mark? I've seen this done like this in other videos. Did you really have the wheel bearing assembly? Seems it wasn't shown removed in this video, correct?

I've had cars come in where the cable is like a piano string, yet the parking brake doesn't work. Many don't know that the cable should be slackened off, then the rear shoes are adjusted correctly, only then is the cable adjusted.
