This car was probably bought from Husna actress by Lahore Race club, they used Convertible car to run along the running horses to monitor and check fair, honest effort by the Riders, one of the senior official used to sit on top of the back seat to do this, before this Impala, LRC had white Ford, thunderbird convertible, famous T bird, My father Abdul Hameed was than the Secretary of LRC and was involved in purchasing of this car and did use it to monitor the races ….I remember it was a beauty parked in the Garage of Secreatory LRC house at 78 jail Road , it used to come out on racing days twice a week, one being Sunday…driver was Kalay Khan..Great days…..
