Hello from Colorado! I have been following your builds for a few years. You are not only a great craftsmen, but you have a great way of explaining the details, lessons learned, ect. You do a great job of explaining NOT only what to do, but why, and what to watch out for. Really appreciate your guidance. I suspect these videos are a bit of a pain to do, but man, are they worth it to your subscribers! THANKS A BUNCH!!! I have taken my bone-stock survivor '62 Pontiac Grand Prix down to metal, and have used your videos for guidance & inspiration. I've done all the welding, metal work, hammer / dolly, fixed some old repairs, & 100% metal work to adjust all the gaps. If all goes well I will be applying 2 light coats of epoxy sealer next week, and start brining the car back to life. Thanks again!
thank you for your long time support. really appreciate taking the time to comment. working on these cars is a butt load of work. i really just record, probably not even 1/10th of the work done. the grand prix sounds like its going to be a great car! thanks again
A lot of/most people never spend enough/any time for the Prep work.............and they cannot figure out why the paint looks like crap and starts to fall off.............seen this way to many times. Lots of very good tips on the material, tools and methods used which is a great help for anyone trying to figure out how to get ready for paint. The Colors look GREAT !!!

I misspoke in the beginning. The hole on fender is for trim, not trail master. The door has holes for the trail master

If you encounter a hole with a lot of build up, use a step drill bit
Question, is this SPI epoxy primer y'all are wet sanding? And if so isn't there a window after it's dried to either seal or paint it?
Yea it's spi. Refer to spi tech manual for details
@@lonestarlows do you use SPI as a sealer?
Yes. I use all their products
