Through the Korean Military Advisory Group, the South Korean Army has been able to build itself up to the fourth strongest Army in the world. "The Big Picture" shows the activities of the South Korean Army and its preparations for the future.

Served in US Army in the Republic of Korea back in 2007 - 2008 with HHC, 3-2 GSAB.
Stationed in ROK 1973-74 the regular ROK Army was a very dedicated disciplined group-we had KATUSA troops and they were great!
the destiny chooses the Republic of Korea to against the Communist, not Republic of Vietnam. And now, R.O.K turns their path from the poorest country to become the tiger of Asia.

Loved the documentary. The American KMAG advisors were the unsung heroes of the Korean War, cranking out so many ROK Army and Marine divisions. This success paid dividends later in that war, and in Vietnam, as well.
The ROK troops in Vietnam were sadistic butchers.
