The ability to make interesting informative videos without taking themselves too seriously is a trick Chris and Jordan perfected ages ago - something a lot of other "content creators" fail miserably at. Really appreciated and looking forward to more.
Camera Conspiracies has some great videos (and ongoing inside jokes) about many of those gear review channels that take everything way too seriously. Dude’s hilarious.
If anyone is on the fence, the size difference was what finally made up my mind. The RSC 2 is actually quite a bit smaller overall. I watched every review on TH-cam and a girl named iJustine finally showed them RIGHT next to each other (check around 4 minutes into her review). The size difference is much greater then it looks in other reviews that keep the gimbals a few feet apart. $260 is quite a bit of money saved when you compare the Pro Combos so, combined with the smaller size, I personally went with the RSC 2. Anker 10k mAh batteries with 18w Power Delivery are always on sale for $25 and the RSC 2 supports quick charging so I think I’ll be just fine without the interchangeable battery. I got the Slim version of the Anker battery and it’s the size of an iPhone, so it’s really no big deal to toss it in my day bag and charge my devices between shots. 10k mAh should be enough for right around 3 full charges of the RSC 2.
Jordan's presentation style got much better, less rigid, much more natural. Loved the intentional movement throughout the video. Now take a deep breath!

Best review so far but one question, how well does the tracking work in combination with the follow focus, can you comfortably track something and expect it to stay in focus when using both together or should you use the tracking with the af of the camera?
@@thatcherfreeman it's a lidar addon that you buy and have an own autofocus system that do not communicate with the camera at all. You can find about it in the make art now channel or something like that.

What about drifting problem which was in RS1? Basically after turning left and right for some time gimbal did not turn back into the center and I had to turn it manually with the joystick.
I like that my Zhiyun Crane gimbal comes with a couple of standard 26500 batteries, so if it loses battery performance at any time in the future it's a trivial fix... why can't DJI do this?
Oooh, perhaps there'll be an astrophotographers' version with star-tracking, that'll self-level, find Polaris (+ heavenly bodies) via an app, be compact, and be competitively priced. Dad bods are cool.

Other gimbals have had a lot of the same features, but DJI combines them all into one and adds the follow focus

Despite the name, a follow focus is just a manual focus control so that's going to be dependent on the skill of the operator.
