    Your instructions are much better than the Whitestone instructions. You actually explain why bubbles form and how to keep that from happening.

    You should include an installation tray. I just installed a Whitestone Dome on my Pixel 2 XL and it was hard enough, with the tray. I can imagine it being even harder without the installation tray. It also takes practice so you should include at least 2 of everything in your installation kit. The Whitestone Dome has an installation tray and I still got it off to the left just a hair. It helps that you can slide the glass gently before the curing. I thought I had it lined up perfectly but I didn't. Does your product have the same excellent oleophobic coating as the Whitestone? It's the best tempered glass I've ever felt. So smooth and doesn't pick up fingerpribts.

    If I have a lot of time to wait no hurry to use phone, after whole installation process, is the glue really dry already? How long to wait so it is really dry then I use it will be safest not causing any bubble and problems?

    • @SGFreshIdea
      @SGFreshIdea  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually the glue is cured after around 10 Mins. The part that leaks slightly is just some oil base in the loca itself. You can use it directly after 10 Mins of curing.

    I've read it is extremely hard to pull off phone when replacing, could I use a skin tpu screen protector and then apply this glass screen protector with the glue over that? To prevent it from being a problem to pull off later?

    Hi. How is the removal of the glass, specially the adhesive? does it gonna be removed easily?

  • @Ali___
    @Ali___ 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have tried so many glass screen protectors and have removed them all within the first week, all of them only have adhesive around the edges and are soooo expensive in my country. I am so fed up, and i can't get the whitestone dome to Namibia as the only way i can get them here without breaking my bank is ebay. I would really like to at least try yours! I write reviews in my town's local newspaper so I don't really have the money for the more expensive ones. But I am so interested in your product!!

      Generally no. I took one off yesterday and there was a bit of a clump of glue where the glue filled in some scratches, but I scraped it off relatively easily. My screen smelled like the UV glue for maybe an hour, but afterwards it's pretty much the same as before I put on the protector.

      The most painful part of the process was trying to take the phone out of the trays after curing the glue. I almos had to break them as they were glued, there was glue everywhere anyway what a mess. However the result was worth it. My screen looks amazing!

    I haven't purchased any of your products, but I do happen to have some LOCA glue (phone glass repair). Assuming it's just... ordinary LOCA glue...? Could I still use that to stick on any glass screen protector onto my phone and expect similar results like in your video?

    • @SGFreshIdea
      @SGFreshIdea  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Trudy Schwartz-Burrill Hi thanks for asking. This LOCA is slightly more viscous as compared to Whitestone making it easier to control as a beginner. The side leaks will still happen slightly depending on how the installation was done. Mainly, it is just a oily substance and easy to clean off.

      SG Fresh Idea thanks for getting back to me so fast, I bought the glass my phone come in Friday. I'm nervous about the White Stone no w th at I see liquid screen protector full body now from Armorsuit.
      I HAVE to say I'm impressed with that with just the number case. Erica the girl that likes to film stuff did a drop test video on the number 11 feet no screen protectors and it was no problem. AMAZING. I'd love to do that Do I have the guts?
      I wonder if you could put one glass protector on the front and one on the back and just use the bumper shield protector case that is drop tested to 11 feet. I feel because then it would be double glass all the way around that it would be protected. Especially with glass rather tthan just thin plastic. I'd feel safer. ANYONE?

    • @TrudySchwartzBurrill
      @TrudySchwartzBurrill 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      SG Fresh Idea it must be because UAG and ZIZO do not work. They are too tight as you saw as are many Speigans, so I don't think that a Speck cover would work either with the Dome Maybe this type? Where do you get it, please? I imagine you have to put it on perfectly it appears. Getting scared. I heard some people got liquid in their ports. One its cured yikes?
      Do you know if it leek also for 24 hours? Here and there?

    +SG Fresh Idea what adhesive is it, LOCA?

    • @SGFreshIdea
      @SGFreshIdea  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ALFAru Yes it is LOCA but it is specially formulated. Please do not use 1000 or 2500 available in the market as the removal process is extremely difficult.

    • @ALFAru
      @ALFAru 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think 2500 is not too hard to remove, but thank you for your reply and advise!

    • @SGFreshIdea
      @SGFreshIdea  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      ALFAru no worries 2500 is slightly better than 1000 but the viscosity is too thick which means you have to press on the glass to spread it and that may cause you to use too much LOCA or have uneven coverage which causes the jagged edges and collection of dust over a period of time

    Hello. I have installed this kind of screen protector onto a Samsung Note 8 , I've waited the adhesive to work its way, then it was dropping out of the edges and came a little bit into the on/off button. I have cleaned the excess adhesive and after I had finished the installation this button was working very hard, the click feeling was gone. Question? Does anyone know if the button will work properly after some time or will it remain this way? Thanks!

      Don't worry about it. Just take some alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) will work fine and pour a little bit into the home button. Keep pressing the home button about 20 to 30 times.
      Do it again if you wish to. The smell will go away in a few days. Not too big a concern. :) if it does not feel stuck
