- This is the 4th year that we've had the pleasure of seeing Red-headed Woodpeckers at the bird feeder 💗 Baltimore Orioles & Northern Mockingbirds are coming for grape jelly. The male Rose-breasted Grosbeak filled up on safflower seeds.

This is just so wonderful!
Beautiful birds. I wish we’d have more variety in our area. We have plenty of blue jays, some mourning doves and red wing blackbirds. That’s about it.

Wow ! GREAT video with nice variety of birds ! Love to see the Oriole! Was VERY surprised to see the Mockingbird feed at the jelly dish. Who knew ??
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching!
What a handsome bird! I'm in the country north of Seattle, and we don't have these, but I do get a lot of flickers, downys and hairy woodpeckers at my feeders. They really love suet cakes, and sometimes will eat sunflower kernels.
Glorious! ❤
You definitely have to offer what "they" want to eat, if you want to see "them". Ya gotta love spring migration
What kind of food do you have in all your feeders
That varies depending on the time of the year and what birds are in the area. We try to provide a variety of foods at any given time to attract more species of birds however, that isn't always possible when we get large flocks of birds that can overtake the feeders. It's a bit of a juggling act throughout the year. The list of foods we use most is under the description of our live cam. Thanks for watching!
@@gettysburglivecam9188I love your channel so much but is the platform feeder the one with the safflower seed?
what type of seed is in your platform feeder?
