I’ve lived in Orange City for 54 years. I love visiting when it’s really cold then the manatees love the springs for the warmth.

I grew up in orange city and we used to ride our bikes there on a weekly basis. Just imagine someone used to live in that house and have that whole property all to themselves. Great tour by the way.

That would be cool to be able to ride your bike there. Can’t even imagine having that whole property to yourself. That would be something! Thanks for watching!

Blue Springs SP is one of the most beautiful springs in Florida. When I was there last spring I didn't see unfortunately any manatees but it's the premier spot for them. Didn't know they have limit how many cars can be there at the time. Great video! 👍

Thanks so much! They had so many manatees when we went. It gets very crowded. Thanks for watching!

I used to live down in DeLand/DeBary 30 years ago and loved blue spring! So glad you did this vlog. Still looks the same pretty much except for all the people .. I’m pretty sure there was no fee. Looks like they still allow swimming in spring area even when the manatee were in -the rule was you couldn’t touch but they could touch you …and they did 😊

I remember back in 1986-1990 there used to be a rope from a big tree at the spring and you could swing into the water. Someone either got hurt or died and they got rid of it. I never did it. My brother did

Oh wow. Yeah that was probably a little too dangerous so it was smart to take it down. Interesting!

I should do this because being 100% disabled Veteran I get free entry to all State Parks in the US
