Eduardo is 26 years old and grew up in the northern part of Mexico City. He describes Mexico City as a place full of art, culture, and incredible people 🇲🇽
The journey into barbering began with Eduardo's first visit to a barbershop. Right away he was captivated by the scents, the style of the shop, and the camaraderie ✨ This experience led him to pursue barbering as a career.
Eduardo trained at United Barber College under the guidance of a great teacher named Alexis. There, he learned valuable lessons about striving for excellence with humility, maintaining cleanliness, and always presenting his best self.
With seven years of professional experience under his belt, Eduardo finds the most joy in meeting people from all over the world, learning from their stories, and providing them with not just a haircut, but a memorable experience 💈❤️
His focus is on creating a welcoming atmosphere where you feel like you are with a friend. He wants customers to feel like this is a place where you can truly be yourself and enjoy a "comfortable experience where you can relax and forget about everything while getting your haircut.”

Scalper Barbershop was founded in 2014 by Rodrigo Serrano. Rodrigo grew up in Mexico City as the second of five siblings - three sisters and one brother. Despite their age differences (ranging from 24 to 41), they are all close.
The inspiration to open Scalper Barbershop came from Rodrigo's family. His father has been a hairstylist for over 40 years, and his mother is a makeup artist so Rodrigo has always been surrounded by the beauty industry 💇🏻‍♂️ Watching their dedication and love for their craft motivated him to contribute to the family legacy.
After spending years in the corporate world, Rodrigo decided to return to his roots. He opened a barbershop next to his parents' beauty salon, aiming to bring back the traditional barbershop experience to Mexico. Scalper has grown to four locations, and two years ago, Rodrigo and his oldest sister expanded the family business by opening a beauty salon called Open Studio.
For the barbershop, Rodrigo says he enjoys collecting barber chairs, razors, and barber poles. Also, he is passionate about learning new trends, discovering new products, and exploring barbershops around the world 🌎
Each of his barbershops has its own unique vibe, reflecting the personality of the neighborhood. You'll find signature colors and design elements like wood and iron that give each shop its distinctive character. But even with their differences, there’s a shared DNA that ties them all together, making it clear they’re part of the same family.
At Scalper, the goal is for you to feel pampered and truly taken care of. They want you to feel comfortable, like you're right at home.
