  • Today I would like to share with you the way I make gift tags. A small gift tag can add a lot of charm and love to any gift. Once you see how easy it is to make the base for your gift tag, you would want to create tags not only for Christmas, but for any special occasion. So gather your scraps and let's get crafty!
Things you need for the Snowman tag:
Two pieces of linen (slightly bigger than you want your gift tag to be)
One piece of white cotton (this goes between the two pieces of linen)
    Fusible web
Scraps of wool felt (ivory/white, yellow and orange)
    Metal eyelet
    Ribbon or cord
    Scissors (fabric and craft)
    Hear removable pen
    Small ruler
    Rotary cutter
    Iron

So cute! Sort of primitive modern. I’m going to try different things to replace a lifetime of Christmas ornaments destroyed in flooding. These are great. I think I could manage hand sewing since I can’t sit at a sewing machine anymore. Or I’ll ask someone to see them for me. Thank you for sharing your talent.

I am sorry to hear that your Christmas ornaments were destroyed in flooding. That's very sad. I hope you enjoy making this simple tags. They will look cute as ornaments and can be done without any sewing at all. Simply use fabric, felt and fusible web. Happy crafting! ❤️

They are gorgeous, how do you write on them?

Thank you! They are not meant for writing, but you can stitch on a piece of paper on the back piece of linen and write on it. You can also use a fabric pen to write on the back. ❤️
