Trop beau ❤️
❤❤❤
Thank you for the tutorial
Clearly I need to be doing more embroidery. Every time I watch you sew I start to feel the joy of therapeutic productivity.
Soo cute!!
Hermoso ❤
Very clear, simple & informative tutorial! ((Thank You!!))
So clever !😃💕👌🏻
Thanks ! 🙏🏻 😊
The background sounds are so joyful ❤
They're so cute!!
Do you ever accidentally stitch into the paper?
Is there a pattern for this?
Sorry, no. ❤️
Gorgeous fabrics💕 Love the small size. Excellent work!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Beautiful work.❤
Thank you! ❤️
This is my aunt's favorite pattern. No telling how many quilt tops she has pieced.
This is a beautiful pattern, but a fiddly one too 😀
So cute! One kind or size are the paper pieces? Not square right?
Thank you! These papers are for the Double Wedding Ring pattern, they are a bit like tumblers. ❤️
I was lookn for stamp embrodery an i never never thought of using a Stamp👍 made my beginning process easier I had got sheets from hobby lobby but this is even better TY
I am glad you like this little trick! The possibilities are endless here! Happy stitching! ❤️
You were almost to the end!
😀
Beautiful quilting stitches💕
Thank you! 😊
LOVE your yummy darling fabrics💕💕. Very clever!
Thank you! 😊
Lovely
Thank you!
I love this. Did you put a pattern together?
Thanks! Not yet unfortunately.
I love the look but they don’t make magnifying glasses strong enough for me 😂
Oh yes! These pieces are small and fiddly! 😂 But I am loving it!
Wow well done. I love it.❤
Thank you!
I have been using your 3 dot method with interfacing shapes works well. Glue lasts longer and in UK it's cold so I iron the fabric first and it sticks well. Thanks
That’s fantastic! I am glad it works for you! 🤗
So pretty !!!!
The colours are amazing!
How did you know the paper was centered over the design? Are you ok with just eyeballing it?
Why exactly did u do this
@@GlamrockBonnie100 it's paper piecing. It's a technique used to keep the fabric in a very specific shape until it is sewn together
Sometimes. This piece of fabric is square and the design is pretty mush in the middle so I had to put the paper in the center. Usually I check how the design is positioned by flipping it over.
Well it's darling! Thanks so much!
Thank you very much!
А как потом бумажный шаблон убирать???
Довольно легко, так как этот клей только прихватывает немного. На канале есть видео как это делается.
Love this! Hope to see a pattern soon 🎉❤
Thank you very much! I hope so too. ❤️
Just beautiful ❤ I love it ❤
Thank you very much! ❤️
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤
Hi, do you ever use silk thread? I have some old wooden spools of Coats & Clark twisted silk thread. It is so smooth and buttery!! But now I can't find anything like it. Thought I'd throw it out there to you and your viewers.
Hello! No, I have not used any silk for hand sewing, but it sounds like an interesting idea to try especially for lighter lawn fabrics. Thank you for sharing this! ❤️
I use Superior Kimono Silk Thread for English Paper Piecing and especially for Liberty Fabrics.
@@DB-oz9bb oooh!! That looks like exactly what I'm looking for! THANKS!!
I really like it! I have found it to be very thin and hardly show in EPP
Thats amazing
Thank you! ❤️
I've visited Australia five times, but only seen an echidna once, crossing the road in 1997. My brother stopped the car so that I was able to video it 😊
We had the same experience in Tasmania. 😃 We just got very lucky, usually they are hard to spot.
Most of the sewing tutorials I watch are American. Your bird video's show you are Australian 😊💞
Yep! 😀 These kookaburras come to our backyard like to their own home. 😂
I've watched relatives hand piece but never up close in detail. This is excellent. THANKS!
You are most welcome! ❤️
Beautiful work as always. Quest. Do you do anything to the raw edges before quilting? I’m making a baby blanket and worried about fraying edges inside quilt from frequent washing. Thx
Thank you very much! No, the edges are left raw, just like with machine sewing. Even with frequent washing nothing would happen as the quilting gives an extra stability to all the pieces. ❤️
I’m lazy when I do EPP. I use a charm pack, don’t trim, use an iron to fold (so quick) and then a dab of water soluble glue if needed. No need to baste and you can get straight to the stitching.
That's just another way of doing it. 😀 I am a bit of a neat freak. I don't cope well with all the bulk of untrimmed fabric on the back. 😂 I suppose whatever method works for you is a great method! I sometimes use a hot iron, when I need just a single shape. ❤️
@@stitchingnotes2606 I get you. Neat is nice but I’m a bit too lazy for it. Thank you for replying!,
Are you going all the way through or just grabbing the top layer?
With this particular make I am sewing through the top layer and batting, the stitches are not visible on the inside.
I love to take embroidery on vacation. I'm getting plans ready for our next trip!
That's nice! Embroidery is a lovely portable craft! Enjoy your holidays! ❤️
Hi, what kind of thread do you use? A long time ago, a friend gave me old wooden spools of silk thread and I LOVED it for embroidery! Not sure where to find it now.
This is a 100% linen thread by Gutermann. Silk for this kind of work might be a bit too delicate. ❤️
Do you have the pattern and material list to go with thus cute little pouch?
Unfortunately no. It is on my to do list, but I am not sure when that will be.
Thank you so much for this! Using a pin will be very helpful. I was going to use a glue stick, couldn't find that. Turns out a pin will do nicely! Aces! And skipping the knot, I like that.
You are very welcome! Glad you find this helpful. Pin works really well. Happy sewing!
And the Hello Kitty patch is CUTE!!
Thank you! 😊
I have some of those magnet pinch clasps (whatever you call them) in my Amazon cart. Do you have a link to what you used? Are you happy with them? Have you used them very much on other projects?
This is a Flex Frame. I used them many times before and really like them. Some of them are bit too stiff, and then some are too soft. It is a good idea to buy a few different ones to compare which one you like the best.
An easier way is to take a paper punch and punch 2 holes about in the center and maybe 1/4 inch - 1/2 inch apart. Slip the stick in and under the hole and gentley pull paper out. Measures do not have to be exact. If they tear tape them They can be used so many times. I have also made my hexies papers into -plastic from milk cartons with a shape punch ( used in paper crafts ) so they are more permeant also with the holes punched into the centers for easy removal. Thank you for sharing paper piecing talents.
Thank you very much for your comment and great tips! I do punch holes in my papers. The only thing is that when you use glue basting method, the holes are not that helpful as the paper removing process is a bit different. ❤️
That's adorable.
Thank you so much!
Reminds me of cloud watching when I lived in the midwest.
It is mesmerising!
