My first ride in a tractor trailer was with my grandparents neighbor. Lee drove an Astro pulling a chemical trailer. Loved it. Lee was a Vietnam vet who loved to bbq and tinker with cars. My sister's and I were friends with his kids, but I was a little older, and with our common interests I hung out more with him. Great times.

A man's attention needs to go to every single member of his family individually, to make sure everyone's needs are fulfilled. That's easy to forget when you're engrossed in a strong passion, but you can't replace the time put into your family and it's always well worth it.

The mid 70s through mid 90s trucks are great. They were just advanced enough to be exceptionally dependable while not so complex to need a factory trained technician to keep them going. No DEF sensor to go bad & wait for more than a year to get a new one.
I'm starting to believe I need to break out of my shell, and start to show "Orwell". It's just not in my nature to "show" it. But I did fo a Meet n Greet and it went over quite well.

Tim maybe you could do a video (I know enough to get me in trouble) to explain the difference between older trucks, gliders, modern rigs, engine conversions and the regs that apply. Like for instance I’m familiar with all three but don’t know and am curious about regulations regarding gliders, older units and modern trucks or even engine conversions and how that all fits with the trucking lyfestyle. Because I can tell you I do know that discs brakes for stopping are the way to go, but the maintenance is a little harder than your drums. Thanks Gentry Fam. 🤘🏼

I was driving to Indiana from Tucson there's a small town in New Mexico about 60 miles from Texas there's about 100 cab overs sitting in a field
500k on our 2020 kw t680 with x15 only have had 2 sensor issues. We run team so its. Rolling 24/7 5days a week. 3months and it will be 2 years
I am kinda glad I got out of trucking before all the electronic logs. Yea I miss driving but I perfer loose leaf paper logs.
