Thank you so much for sharing all the raw footage! The back stories at the beginning of these videos are golden. Your work is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!
Thank you T.R love the genuine directors cut. Would be cool if you could re-visit some of the places you filmed (existing skate spots or not)- maybe even bring some of the oldschool skaters with you.
Every time you post a new video it's a real treat. I stop whatever I'm doing to watch it. I look forward to your opinions on the skaters you've filmed. Keep up the great work.
Wow, this channel is rad, dude. This stuff is pure gold. Kinda funny, I was thinking it's weird I haven't seen this channel until today, but I just noticed there's a video I saw a while back you posted in response to a rider who griped about having like three tricks in a video back in the day, kinda disproving what they said; I should have checked out the rest.
My friend knew him when he was back on those Gale Webb Tours. He met Danny Mayer as well. Wow, that was a long time ago, but said he knew Way was special from the jump.
The Pioneers of Skateboarding: The guys from dog town (Jay Adams and what not), Danny Way, Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek, Luc Pierre Gagnon Andy Macdonald, and Rodney Mullen. These are the guys who really transcend skateboarding to the level that we still skate at today. Look at young Danny. Doing tricks in high top Nikes because skate shoes didn't yet exist, on a skateboard with one tail. The level Danny went from and to in skating was unfathomable by everyone except him and maybe Bob. These guys created the entire skateboarding world and culture. Bless all of them.
I believe the friend that’s skating with Danny in the street footage is Tommy Grijalva. I can tell by his style. He was also from Vista and he skated for New School.
Back then when the sky was so blue & we were so young! A long time ago !
The alleyoop 540 over the channel was second try, makes it look so easy. Thanks for the memories Tony.
John Cardiel asked D.Way what the trick to doing 540s was and he said "Alley-Oop it, that's the key". Then Cards did one, no pads...
This is the BEST!!!! We're so lucky to have these...Share with everyone!
Awesome! Love it! Thx so much!

Yeah man, appreciate it.
I like watching you interact and interview the non skater common folk. It’s nice to see how people were back in the day 👍👍👍
Love this man, so cool to see the behind the scenes. Much love.

That's a rad idea. I left the states over 30 years ago so that would be a trip.
SKYPE interviews is another idea .

This reminds me of filming Biebel when he was a kid.
You can see the evolution in board shapes in this relatively short time
Thanks for video!

Memories get foggy, stories get twisted, but the facts are on the tapes and film reels.
Keep these vids coming. So good!

i had that same pair of airwalks and that bullet tshirt
I wanna know who the old heckler was
When watching the street footage it's crazy that 2 years later he was doing bs 360's over double sets and monster double kink rails.
Was that Ron Chatman with Danny at the ditch and shopping mall?
No, not Chapman, cant remember dude's name.
For the algorithm again.
Spill the beans on the more established guy that was being prick.
Who's the dude in the Honda at the gas station you interviewed?
He is correct.. Look at the tricks now.. 😮
I hope all the haters out there notice that Danny Way is skating Gullwings. Gullwing Army!!
What was the beef with Tony Hawk?
For the algorithm
🙏💯👊🏽💥
