Houston Fire Technical Rescue Response.

Crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of McCue Rd for an “Unknown Technical Rescue” units arrived on scene and began their investigation. It is unclear exactly what happened however 1 pt was transported to a area hospital.

Does the technical truck have the same model as the LAFD USAR Task Force Semi?

The LAcoFD has a tractor drawn KME "Severe chasis" tractor. I don't believe LAFD has a tractor drawn USAR rig! Both departments have Heavy Rescues built around the "rotator"wrecker concept but they're different beasts, as LAFD's is a 50 ton and LAcoFD's (made by MILLER),is rated 65 tons! Both are way cool!!

We have 8-9 tractor drawn usar rigs like this spread throughout Georgia.

In Houston what's the difference between a medic unit and a ambulance? so I noticed there's like medic 60 but then like ambulance 40

Medic units have ALS capability (paramedics) and a ambulance is staffed with just EMTs

Interesting to see HFD kept the Pierce trailer and replaced only the tractor with a Gladiator for R11. Seems like the city would have enough money to buy an entirely new one. But then, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

They actually just took delivery of their new trailer not to long ago!

We have the old Pierce still and it actually runs pretty damn good it’s the only truck left with a CAT everything else is Cummins or Detroit.

What I want to see is add a 4th rescue truck for the southeast so all 4sectors of the city are covered. And. Have them respond to all working fires as a RIT team
