    I've never had a shrimp burger from a restaurant but I had to make an 'ebi' burger after seeing all of the shrimp burgers in Japan, and it is/was so easy it sort of blew my mind.
    I'm still jelly over all the shrimp burgers in Japan.

      Oh wow! You made it from scratch? I bet it was even better than this

    I hope fast food places do more prawn or shrimp burgers!

    I know it’ll never happen but I wish this Lotteria brand would make it’s way to the UK as their varied range of burgers look amazing!

    I agree that that burger looked super tasty! Bummer the texture wasn’t as good as it looked! Was it just too dry? Strange that the mashed avocado didn’t help D: I’d still definitely try it! Hope you get to try the loco moco burger! That one seemed super interesting to me! Awesome vid!

      I feel the avocado was part of the problem ---goop that came out of a tube. I'm thinking to do a side-by-side with Ronald's loco moco at some point

    Wonder how it would be with a cocktail sauce or chili sauce? Your suggestion of a juicy mater would also work.

      I think either would be great! It was just kinda dry overall...

    Shame that it was a bit dry but it still looked like a decent burger to me excellent review once again Paul!!!

    No thank you. Lol I love shrimp but not sure I am on board for the pattie. I would try it but definitely skeptical.

      Haha, it's better than it sounds ---it has full pieces of shrimp in it, the avocado was a paste though...

    The egg one of course if it's runny should be the best out of the 3 pack.

    Sounds good! I would give it a go. As for the price, I would get two or maybe mix it up a bit.

    “…bunch of kids back there playing something..” 😂
    Restaurants now liberally using the word ‘Hawaiian’ on food to make it sound exotic.

    Are those really small burgers or is it the perspective?

      It is a wide angle lens, but yeah, Lotteria is not known for big burgers unless it's one of their crazy tall ones...

    Thank you for trying it for us and showing it to us. I wouldn'tbe tempted by any shrimp burger...but would you choose it again? 🙂

    • @CriticalEatsJapan
      @CriticalEatsJapan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't mind shrimp burgers like this, but it would have been better with something other than the avocado paste

    Not sure I would like the sauce it comes with but I would choose this one over the pineapple burger. Beef just doesn't really agree with me since I had Lyme disease.

    I find it really interesting how you talk completely different than Ken Domik and other Canadians. You’re from Canada right? But you don’t have the stereotypical “ou” pronunciations. Did you grow up in the states?

    • @CriticalEatsJapan
      @CriticalEatsJapan  ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess I'm just Canadian light compared to Ken's Ontario dialect...
