So when he steps back but still needs space to get it off (since he is a shorter scorer) he uses his vertical ability to wait his defender to drop lower.

He’ll end up starting. On defense he doesn’t go underneath screens, and everybody knows his J is suspect.
DSJ is all flash, and turnovers. I’m surprised that he hasn’t taken the next leap, because he has all of the tools. If nothing else his court vision should have improved by now. I think that his shooting will get better once his athleticism declines.
