I feel like every year we see Ben testing out his 3 pointer's intros work out gyms, everyone knows how much better he could actually be if he just extended his range a little more
He should really just be shooting jump shots during the workouts TBH from game spots ....everyone knows he can bully his way to the rim.....I question if he really PUTS the commitment to the GAME to get better. Everyone knows the scary potential but does he really got that DRIVE to take it to the next level. We saw how Giannis willed his way to SUPERSTAR status, Ben could do the same!!!

@@jman1562001 I think with Ben it is more mental than actual technique. His shot seems solid in practices but during game time it feels like he shrank into his shell. Giannis on the other hand has that strong mentality and just powers through whatever. Bad at free throw? Keep getting to the line. The opponents leave him out on the three? He’s shooting it regardless of whether he miss his last shot or not.
@@amrilhaziq8114 exactly I don't care if he makes or miss but the process of getting those reps in at practice going game speed is what builds that confidence. Fooling around driving passing and dunking ain't the wave. It's simple imo and I know the coaches tell him but either it's a confidence mental thing or he willful ignores the advice and does him. Given his current track record it's more the latter then the former

No he´s not. His ego is too big and he rubs too many guys the wrong way. He´s had locker room problems in every stop he´s been at. What makes a coach great at the pro level is the ability to manage and motivate ego´s not x´s and o´s. How do you get guys who make far more money then you and are more important to your job security then you are to theirs to buy in and trust what you are trying to build...

Assistants work more closely and intimately with the players then the head coaches at the pro level as they are hired to handle a single aspect of the coaching duties. In Rondo´s case being a point guard it would usually be skill development. He´d be working closely hour after hour, day after day with the guards and wings. The head coach for the most part is interacting with his players but his hour after hour day after day work is with the GM and the assistants. He might have a personal relationship with one or two of the guys on the squad he´s not going to be the guy spending time with them. That´s the assistants.
Ben Simmons is a versitale playmaker and him improving his jumper makes him even more of a threat. Go Ben Simmons!!

Off season rest, timing, rhythm, coordination is EVERYTHING in sports. Jordan Clarkson, one of the most prolific scorers in the NBA couldn't buy a basket.(a few baskets towards the end) I bet he drop 20 or 30 in his first game of the season though.
