You can't go wrong with a John Carpenter flick! Hard to believe the same guy made so many classics. All of these mentioned, certainly the actual Top 10, are true greats! I'm looking forward to seeing what else you have in store for these lists. Cheers! 🤘
@@BeardyRedViking True Mate , he put out some incredible movies …lots of great ones to choose from Thanks Simon, Appreciate you watching and commenting 🤘🎃
I have seen the majority of his films. The ones I keep having to re-visit are The Fog, The Thing, They Live, and Big Trouble in Little China. A few I will sit my kids down to watch over the school Holidays starting with The Thing. Love this series mate🎃👍

Great list! I would put Assault on Precinct 13 in my ten (such a great atmosphere to it) but otherwise we are in sync. Both of his Masters of Horror episodes are great too. Cheers Marty!
Hi Marty!!! that was an awesome video and kind of homage to one of the greatest movie director and you have all the movies to probe it..... there are some i might have not seeing or don't recall. The ones he did with "Snake" are so fun and cool too and Orca the first movie with Bo Derek!!!!!! . cheers and be well
@@cristianosorio2517 Hey Cristian, thanks for watching Mate…didn’t realize he was involved in Orca, I’ve only recently watched it Great director with some classic movies Have a great weekend Mate
Top video Marty Mac. My top 10 carpenter releases: Close to You, Yesterday Once More, Rainy Days and Mondays, We've Only Just Begun, Goodbye to Love, Superstar, Top of the World, I Won't Last a Day Without You, Sing, & Hurting Each Other.
Awesome video, Marty. The Thing has to be one of the greatest movies of all time. As for Halloween, to this day it still creeps me out even though I've probably seen it hundreds of times 😂 Great to see your movie collection again 👍
@@seanbeast939 Hi Sean, yeah Halloween has definitely still got “it”, classic movie Can’t go wrong with The Thing , such a movie Thanks for watching my friend, appreciate it 🤘🎃
Enjoyed this one, and utterly forgot about a few of these movies. Of course, your top 2 is my top 2 as well. Faves after that are definitely Christine, Escape From New York and, of course, The Fog! Happy (very early) Halloween.
Had to be 'The Thing' at no.1 , i remember seeing the spider head for the first time as a kid , classic line 'You've got to be fucking kidding' ... blew my tiny mind . Yeah mate The Thing is right up there for me too with Alien , The Exorcist , An American Werewolf In London. I picked up Orca (1977) on 4k yesterday outrageous movie too IMO . Horror and Metal what else do you need ? Cheers Marty.

Good stuff. Ithink I saw 'Dark Star' wayback when I was a kid. I agree that 'Escape from L.A.' suffers from not nreat SFX. My favorites are 'Escape from New York', 'Big Trouble in Little China' and 'They Live' on a shared first place.

It’s hilarious Thanks for watching Mate, really appreciate it 🤘🎃
Prince of Darkness has some funny moments 😂 I honestly didn't realise how many movies he'd done! Good "Thing" about most of these are they're on the telly from time to time 😅. The Fog really scared me as a kid too 😂 and it still holds up today! I know I could easily find out for myself but I know you'd know so, who directed From Beyond? That's one of my favourite horrors, my friend had a birthday party for his 11th birthday or roundabouts and I saw my first 2 proper horror films that being one and Nightmare on Elmstreet Dream Warriors 😮 Got to say your collections are insanely good! 🤘🏻
