Of course a coda compilation should have a Vasiliev/Osipova coda! He is doing triple tours en l' aire?!? Of course a coda compilation should have some Cuban dancers! Viengsay's turns are mesmerizing. And I am just a huge fan of Kobborg/Cojocaru partnership. Her lines are impeccable, their quality is not affected by the coda's speed, that straight back in her arabesques is so beautiful. An amazing compilation I enjoyed a lot. Thanks Bundu ballerina!

I personally continue to marvel at Osipova's pirouettes with jumps even after so many years! I have not yet seen something similar. And I find Cojocaru in the Balanchine PDD is divine... literally such delicate movements out of this world!

I know I’ve been waiting for this video my whole life. As a professional ballerina trained in Moscow, I’ve been dancing these codas for a while now. For me, the music is an integral part of what makes a great coda (it gives a sense of excitement that defeats any fatigue), so I loved seeing Diana et Acteon, Flames of Paris (spécialement parce que le 14 juillet est dans 3 jours), and Tchaikovsky’s PDD. My own personal favorites are Satanella and Flower Festival codas. May I suggest you do a video on pas de trois: Paquita, Swan Lake, and for all female, Precious Stones, Shades and Odalisques? @@TheBunduBallerina how about the greatest corps de ballet 🩰? I get emotional by the Swan Lake, Wilis, Shades and so many more even after moving to Demi soloist and first soloist. Dancing the Big Swans for a jumper like me will always be a favorite. Another idea: second principal roles such as Myrtha (I always wanted to be her instead of Giselle!), Gamzatti, Lilac Fairy…

Все хороши, но для меня лучший Кимин (хотя представлена не лучшая запись с ним). Удивила хореография дуэта Дианы и Актеона, которая к хореографии Вагановой (кроме вариации Актеона) имеет мало отношения. Почему современные постановщики так легко коверкают и вносят изменения в русскую хореографи? Попробовали бы они так же поступить с хореографией того же Баланчина. И, конечно, молодые Осипова и Васильев очень хороши, особенно, Наталья. В коде из "свадебного" па-де-де из Дон Кихота Симкин замечателен, но вот... партнершу бы ему другую. Все-таки Махатели "не дотягивает" до партнера.

Can I just rain on everyone's parade and say Alina Somova does the strangest fouettes I've ever seen? I understand she's trying to alternate singles and doubles but she may as well be dancing in silence for how far off the music she gets. Her second position is oddly high so she looks tilted off to her left and her working foot just seems to land wherever it pleases when she closes to pirouette position, likewise her arms. She's gotten better, she's just never quite done it for me due to overall lack of musicality. Everyone else is fabulous with great choices of pieces and dancers. Thanks for including Maia Makhatelli; she deserves so much more attention than she gets!
Oh come on Alina is in a league her own as being the most incredibly feather light dancer but did enjoy Osipova, vasiliev always looks like a body builder trying too hard and exaggerating his jumps and spins to th e extreme its grace and interpretation that can be More captivating
@@jillwhite6875 Well, that's why it's art! I adore Vasiliev, although yeah, not the typical danseur noble body. I really loved it when he and Osipova danced together. No other ballerina could match his jump.
Well, at least she is so fast that she manages to catch some beats 😅 Very often dancers stay behind the music due to lack of stamina in the fouettes. I have seen Somova doing way better fouettes, super fast and musical, and there I did not care much about alignment issues etc
I was thinking exactly the same thing about Somova's weird fouettés.
If she was in the third segment, the music was very fast, and I thought the ballerina was sloppy due to this fact. Sorry, I did not really look at the name.

Couldn't help comparing Fromenta's barrel jumps with Simkins. He held his arms steady, so appearing to float - but Simkins arms flail dramatically but untidily to me. Viengsay never disappoints.
The girl at the Tchaikovsky pdd when she did an extra turn at the float looks a lil bit annoyed probably thinking why the good turning day took so long
All have a great technical level of course they express their personal feelings differently.I saw whole of them on stage except Vasiliev, a big regret❤❤❤❤❤❤
Somova's fouettés aren't so special.
