Hey, I found a solution for everyone having the problem when you only have one controller connected but the game detects two (making that every signal from the d-pad or the left stick counts as two), all you have to do is start the game before plugging in your gamepad, and plug it once you are in the language selection screen. Hope this works for you as well!

You know what guys , it works now for me . i am playing BAtman arkham origins with vibration effects :) The solution is believe or not , the latest version are not really working . you need the version "2.0.2.160" and the xinput1_3.dll file version "3.3.1.477" Once i installed those at my game folder , the controllers turned green , axis worked correctly ,and i found that the vibration are working , "You need to install the force feed driver of your joystick in order the vibration to work

Open the x360 program and click the CONTROLLER 1 TAB then go to Advanced tab and check the box that is beside NATIVE MODE. Then after that configure your controller on Controller 2 Tab. and then close the program after configuration and copy the 2 files in game folder.

Though this didnt get the complete job done for the game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. To get it to work, I also had to follow these instructions found on a forum: "The thing that I done: copy xinput1_3.dll into three files with differents names: xinput1_1.dll xinput2_1.dll and xinput9_1_0.dll Maybe one of this names is enough, but I dont know what name to pick." Maybe similar issues can be found in other games aswell, I dont know, but this is what fixed KoAR for me. tl;dr, Thank you for the video, I finally understand how to use the program, great job.

For others, they will just need to learn how to play with and I can't go about instructing everyone individually on what to do if their stick is pointing to another direction if they flick it up.
Aw man, it WORKS! I found where i did wrong. I downloaded the x360ce.ini . Copied it into the game directory. Then i executed it there. After that, it asked me if i am gonna create 2 more files. I confirmed. My mistake begins on the next step. I tried to configure my cheap gamepad manually which did not precisely work. It produced incorrect assignments on the gamepad. The correct solution is awaiting for OS recognise your gamepad. When it succeeded, checking each button if they are executing properly. Then save it. Thats it.

do this go to the x360ce software and go to PAD2 and check on Native so that the PAD2 tab becomes red and then use the new file in the game. Or try another tutorial in description.

Greetings. I can't make my gamepad execute since fifa 14. Till fifa 14, i was copying the related buttondatasetup.ini file to the documents/ fifa X and it was working like a charm. That method did not do the job on fifa 14. For two days, i have been trying every possibility to make my cheap Saitek p2600 rumblepad work for fifa 15 demo. At best, RS partially worked by applying either x360ce application or copying edited buttondataSetup ini files. Still not the desired solution. Where am i doing wrong?

File xinput1_3.dll will appear 6. Rename it to xinput9_1_0.dll 7. Open x360ce again 8. click on Game Settings tab, 9. under XInput Files.. check v9.1,v.1.3 (depending what version your game will ask 32 or 64) 9. Then Save ... Open your game and enjoy!

i am trying to use this to play splitscreen on contagion, which is a zombie steam game, it has the splitscreen feature but u need a 360 controller to play it, and i have a logitech gamepad so i used this emulator to try and make it think that my controller is an xbox controller but i dont think this game reads the script, maybe this only works on some games or something, help would be highly appreciated :)

I tried different versions of the x360 controller emulator. My gamepad (Thrustmaster dual trigger rumble force) works in the application but the game can't find it. The app says to create a copy of xinput1_3.dll with a name provided below (xinput1_2.dll; xinput1_1.dll; xinput9_1_0.dll) till you find one that works. GTA V is the game which I most recently tried it with.
PAOK BOY I haven't found a solution yet for GTA V but the same emulator works with GTA IV and GTA episodes from Liberty city. Two games which normally requires x360 controllers as well when players want to use a gamepad.

sensitivity cannot be controlled through this program plus the joystick you might be using may not be as precise as a PS3 controller.

FOR THOSE HAVING CONTROLLER Detect Problem
1. Download x360ce v3+ on google (32or64)
2. Extract download in game folder
3. Open file x360ce.exe
4. have auto Setting for your gamepad and press save
5. File xinput1_3.dll will appear
6. Rename it to xinput9_1_0.dll
7. Open x360ce again
8. click on Game Settings tab,
9. under XInput Files.. check v9.1,v.1.3 (depending what version your game will ask 32 or 64)
9. Then Save ... Open your game and enjoy!
the sticks aren't working properly, they move from the top to the left, from the top to the right, from the right to the bottom, and from the bottom to the left, and the directions and inverted for the right stick, and when I let go of the stick goes to the top left and my right stick goes to the top left also. pls help
My controller is detecting the right stick left and down as left trigger, but the left trigger is Button 7 as I recorded it. I use Trust GXT 28.
I tried for GTA V bt when the xinput and x360c bt is say it couldnt copy because file is open somewhere even the file and program are closed? is it possible for GTA V or not?
Had ta' switch the Axis 3 and IAxis 6 around... Other than that, awesome tutorial. :)

Can anyone please help me ???? When i insert my gamepad into my laptop the touchpad stops working and game starts to hang sometimes.My gamepad's L1,L2 ,R1,and R2 buttons do not work.I checked the settings and there was not any problem.Earlier it was working fine.I played AC3 after emulating it. I don't know how all of a sudden this problem started.
hello, i just tried this today.. i am able to configure the controller, copy and paste the .dll files in the folder but when I play the game it still doesnt work? the controls are still messed up. can you help? pls?

i am trying to use this to play splitscreen on contagion, which is a zombie steam game, it has the splitscreen feature but u need a 360 controller to play it, and i have a logitech gamepad so i used this emulator to try and make it think that my controller is an xbox controller but i dont think this game reads the script, maybe this only works on some games or something, help would be highly appreciated :)
could be. this program is old now and maybe new games dont support it. Logitech should be good enough to support many games by itself though.

Hey, I have a problem;
I do all the things like in the video - I configure my controller exactly like you. However if I start FIFA 13 it somehow recognizes my controller as two.
When I press one time UP, it goes like two times. It is with the Joysticks, also with the D-Pad. I don't know why, but it is like that.
Please, if you could - help me.
I started the emulator application, It created the two files it asked for, but the options would not be availabe. The errors keep counting that "Could not load or find assembly Microsoft.DirecrX.DirectInput"

I tried different versions of the x360 controller emulator. My gamepad (Thrustmaster dual trigger rumble force) works in the application but the game can't find it. The app says to create a copy of xinput1_3.dll with a name provided below (xinput1_2.dll; xinput1_1.dll; xinput9_1_0.dll) till you find one that works. GTA V is the game which I most recently tried it with.

PAOK BOY I haven't found a solution yet for GTA V but the same emulator works with GTA IV and GTA episodes from Liberty city. Two games which normally requires x360 controllers as well when players want to use a gamepad.
BuffaloTLK It's not that bad to play gta v with mouse and keyboard, however. A gamepad might come in handy when trying to steer a vehicle
BuffaloTLK i have found the solution. doesn't know worked for you or not, 1. Disconnect the gamepad from computer. 2. Start the game. 3. while it is loading, connect the gamepad with the computer..
PAOK BOY Did you ever find the solution to your gamepad issue. Trying to get dishonored to work with the gamepad but it's giving me hell. Already tried the alternative names for the .dll files, but it hasn't worked out.
