War has a knack for
1. Tearing off wings,
2. Getting inside people and slashing his way out,
3. Using his enemies weapons against them,
4. Using his hands to rip off limbs, stab things or generally throw things about,
5. Being totally badass.
Being totally like a Kartos from God Of War, but with a tad bit more ninja-style added into it, Gent.
My way to describe War is a cross between Kratos, Guts, Nightmare and Abaddon the Despoiler.
Don't forget cutting off legs

Wars executions are def more prolonged and brutal, while Death makes his quick and flashy. Love both for what the character represents.
Yep. War loves combat, and Death wants to get to the point.
It's a lesson Death has tried before to teach War, not to waste time... it's why Death cut off War's left arm as a 'learning experience'

The way the video was cut definitely made it look like War kicked him his sword just to immediately cut off his legs within a few seconds. And it was way funnier than it should have been

Well war is violent and brutal..... but death is more quick and efficient, war makes the enemys suffer, while death just slices and makes thier deaths quick... well unless if death becomes the grim reaper thier both brutal at a same level
Death is a lot more flashy. I prefer his executions.
War loves the brutality of the fight and kill. For Death he just wants to move on to the next enemy. Both fit the character well
Unless your Crowfather or the Archon, he really lets you feel it.

gotta give War props for taking down enemies that Death Needs his Harbringer Form to kill
Not so much need as he just wants to get things over with already.
Lore-wise, game-wise, and by word of THQ themselves: Death is the Strongest of the Horsemen. He is the last of the Firstborn generation of Nephilim as well, on top of being both stronger than War, he is bullshittingly durable.
Also, the reason War's left arm is different? Death cut it off.

You missed the execution on the giant spider mini bosses. One of the best animations IMO. You probably know this by now but still I feel I need to say it.

Damn, I platinumed this game and there were still a couple I've never seen. Btw I'm sure you know this but you forgot the best one, when he executes the Watcher. I like both Darksiders games but sometimes the characters can feel sluggish. I really hope there's still a chance for Darksiders 3 or hell even a remake of the first game would be awesome with more combos and abilities because it's a great game but it could still be a lot better.
You know that scene when you take the gun from them to help the Black Hammer make it through? You get to fight him if you prefer to do it melee (I wouldn't recommend it though, these guys are pretty tough at that point in the game
This video made me buy the remaster because of how cool I forgot it was even though I played probably a year and a half ago
Even better: the first rummors said that DS 3 was going to feature multiplayer co-op. But that was before THQ died.

Death was a nice character, but if these rummors about Darksiders 3 are real, I really want the 4 horsemen together so I can play again as such a brute, savage character as War.

Although he is the youngest of the horsemen, he is probably as powerful as death.
War is stronger than Fury and Strife put together but he still got easily beat by Death it's how he lost his arm.
