I don’t see the parents showing lack of remorse. Why should they feel remorseful? Apparently they were clueless not criminals. Are the other parents sad that their son has mental illness ? Doesn’t sound like it to me. This case is crazy. Demonizing parents for their sick child. Maybe funds should be kicked up to address the real problems. Like lack of competent healthcare and education to even accommodate these kids.

So-called “whooping cough” can be healed/cured with a good old fashion homemade hot chicken spicy soup with lots of garlic, onions, hot peppers, bay leaves and other healing herbs. Just remember to use Spring Water, and “NOT” that “wastewater” coming out of most faucets.

The parents blame everything on the son and continue to believe they had no signs. Sorry telling your kid not to get "caught" more or less should have been addressed by Mrs. Crumby and Mr. Crumby should have acknowledged he forgot to secure the weapon that day. A little remorse for their missteps rather than blaming their minor child for failing to tell them first what he planned to do. Parents are pulled in many directions as they juggle the full-time jobs of work with full-time parenting. They knew he had problems just not having friends would be a red flag. Parents need to call a professional when warranted, just like you call a plumber or electrician. They admit to family & friends they are struggling but never to those in positions to help, why? Fear the kid will be taken from them or losing control or what? Get at the reason parents don't seek help when signals are there and remove those obstacles.
