WHAT?!?!?!!? I play this game since forever, is my go-to mobile game when i have nothing to do. Everything about it is very well done and i always have a good time. The Roguelite mechanics are really cool, having infinite combinations, There are a lot of characters with really unique playstyles, awesome customizable skills, companions, weapon and meta upgrades, item fusions, secret passages and secret bosses, the art style is suberb, the soundtrack is cool and the thing i like the most is that i play this for years now, and it still surprise me with new stages with very creative gameplay choices, like a war battle front where you have to get cover, or playing with a mecha, or bribing a boss so you don't fight it. Otherworld Legends is a underrated gem.
Happy to see you play this, it’s actually one of the few fun mobile games i have found and seeing it coming to pc is nice as well. I used to play a ton of it. I would also like to say that I like the blizzard power of the magic lady the least just cause of how weird the normal attack is, so it’s kinda unfortunate that it was one of your first skills to use since her different skills change her normal attacks (although you might have liked the blizzard attack, I don’t really know😅). Anyway, hope you try it for another episode when the full releases but I know it’s also dependent on the support this episode gets as well, not only what you want.
I disagree I do not like lightning abilities or the fire ones the lighting has a two skills that are the same one just has more that falls and it only hits one enemy fire hits the walls far to easy and you can not aim other then left and right with them and no burn dot I feel the mage needs massive rework.
@@MrJeffreyrichards i kinda agree when it comes to the mage needing a redesign, doesn't change the fact though that from all three the ice one is the worst imo. I will also say that the fire ball is actually kinda nice if you stack up some damage. You can end up one shooting a lot of stuff with the right build and fire is good for bosses...
@@bearwitty9690 yeah, I played it, it's also a game I like a lot but the thing with soul knight is that after a while there isn't anything to do unless you buy character with real cash. I have everything unlocked for the free characters as well as all weapons (until they release a new update) other than the Chinese New Year ones. So now it's kinda just achievement hunting and trying to beat hardcore mode with silly weapons like a shovel or something 😅. Definitely very good for mobile though, chilly room are a good team/studio (idk how you call it) from what I saw
As a mobile player of this game, I can assure this game is great. I really recomend that you check it again in the full release, because the original Otherworld Legends is a lot deeper and well made, so I really hope that the final version will be as great.
I am not liking the mage it needs massive rework. the kung fu girl is fine cant use any one else. and so far its the same bosses each time so that too would need work.
@@MrJeffreyrichards The issues with the mage is more because of the attack type he used. Instead of spinning icicles there is a fireball and electroshock attack too.
@@solanumtuberosa I tried all and all but the blizzard to me needs work I am talking about the abilities you get the lightning is so bad it only hits one target in the circle the first one is like 3 for a short channel the second is longer but the same and the last one is the worst of all it only hits those that hit you. Fire you shoot a ball that if your to close to the wall instantly hits the wall the only good thing about it is the C/D the damage is also only meh. The blizzard both the first two are good one is a stationary aoe the other has it fallow you and it does great damage and has the chance to freeze. The basic attacks the best on this side is the lightning as it shoots out a chain lightning auto hit very nice but the abilities are all crap to me other then blizzard.
@@MrJeffreyrichards Yea, she is indeed weak compared to some characters like quan and the shopkeeper. But her ice attack on launch was very broken with king fairy on launch. You could permalock bosses with it back then.
This is a good mobile game, sometimes it's difficult to see the enemies attacking you in mobile tho, it seems easier on PC And for mobile I think it's free, but some characters and other stuff you have to pay to unlock
I love this game and I’m upset I couldn’t watch you play this when you originally released the video cause I pkay this game all the time and it can get crazy with items especially when you get to real mirage difficulty please give this game another try
just a tip from someone who has been playing for 2 years:chance on hit items proc A LOT.they really do. Also dont kill peddler until the final stage,i think you already realized that its not a good idea to kill him early on.

You know, I have to immediately praise this game exclusively for the fact that they made their mage character... a melee fighter??? The spinning ice shards is like, Touhou grazing but as your primary method of attack, and that's just super neat. Hard to use, but neat
I have this in my phone right now, i have only unlocked 4 characters, and i play them in pretty different ways, the punchy lady i usually go for on hit effects, ginzo is for one shots and invisibility, the witch lady, i never play her but i think she good for status effects, and oli, i use her to make an army starting with her robo fishes

Been watching you since warm snow start not to long but I like it better then splattercat he only does like 30mins or so and moves on with you I see full play though much better very much enjoying your videos.
The mage needs work the lightning tree is bad it has two skills that are the same and they too are not good as it just shoots down one bolt on one enemy it should have one that hits all in the circle I would like to see a bolt that shoots across the screen that can be held with push back on it and the 3rd should be a knock away blast much like many of the bosses have that will knock back and stun. The fire is in the same boat I also did not see any burn dots happen after hitting with fire balls or the meteor I give it a 4 / 10 right now mostly due to disappointment. The boxer is or kung fu girl is really good fast high damage and dodging 9/10 on that one the mage is terrible the only saving grace is ice. Fire and lightning need work.
I played this when it was on mobile. The dev is the sameas soul knight, one of the best roguelite on mobile

Wasn't expecting to see this one pop up on your channel since its been out for a hot while, but its nice to see ya play it either way.

the ice skill deals lots of hits and tons of dmg. the weird normal attack is just a trade off
