i love thinking "yeah i can shiny hunt this thing pretty quick" and then it takes forever and the shiny and the journey finding it has a deeper meaning because of it LOL. anyways congrats on the shiny wurmple!!
I know the story is about Snorlax but as an Aipom enjoyer, I just wanna say congrats on it!! Also "Old Navy" is the greatest nickname of all time. That intro was too good Arlie, this video is DOPE!
I absolutely adore these blog style videos, you are so natural with this style of content. It's also crazy how literally 20 encounters after you perfected your Pokédex entry that you got the shiny snorlax. Huge congratulations Arlie, I know you've been wanting this for a long time now so it is endearing to see you finally get it.
For anyone who may read this in the future: If you need to do a move with lower pp, then put more than 1 in your party. 5 pp times 5 in your party = 25 moves complete. I did 5 abra vs magikarp since the fish doesn't attack, I got the 20 teleports pretty fast. Great video, I am sure you know that. When I start a new game I like to save 50+ oran berries and just feed Snorlax just to get it out of the way. Of course it doesn't register until you catch at least one. It's just one less thing I don't have to do later.

Your story-telling and editing skills only get better with each video; all the shots taken for the intro were super cool, and I especially loved the Game Boy part for the Wurmples :) Also congrats with all the shinies lol, always satisfying when all the time spent pays off
This brings me back to the time back in the OG Sun and Moon days, when I got the first Shiny I've ever intentionally hunted. It was a shiny munchlax, just like this video, that took like a few entire days of playing to actually find with the SOS feature. I still have the munchlax, now evolved into a Snorlax to this day, and it still makes me smile whenever I think about it.
The narration, pacing, and music of this video made for the perfect blend of chill vibes and excitement. Amazing job telling the story of this incredible journey!

Last year, I got a Shiny Alpha Snorlax when I was trying to get Infernape. And I didn't even have it's page perfected! But I DID on Infernape. It took me until November, two weeks before Scarlet and Violet came out to finally get him. He's coming with me to the Indigo Disk! 🥰

Great content shiny hunting is the worst sometimes. I hunted ground on in ruby and got it in under 1000 encounters but god it’s hard to push through well done keep going hope your channel grows more and more everyday great TH-camr deserves more subs
