There are two huge fallacies with this video. First, it does not adjust for inflation. And 2nd, like all videos that say invest $10K and you will receive XYZ. It's not the money, its how many shares you need to earn $2800/month. If I purchased $10k of DHT when I watched this video, I would have paid $11.70/share giving me approximately 854 shares, but if I waited to purchase until 8.2.24 I would only pay 11.25/share allowing me to purchase 888 shares.
I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong.
